Lynne Spears reaches out to Britney Spears.
Britney Spears’ mother, Lynne Spears, once again requested Britney Spears to unblock her after the singer took to her social media to share an inspirational quote.
Britney Spears shared a quote that read, "I am not perfect, but I am me," and for the caption, she wrote that her family to this day honestly has no conscience whatsoever and believes in their minds that they have done nothing wrong. Britney added further that the least they could do was take responsibility for their actions and own up to the fact that they hurt her.
A sincere apology would allow her to move forward. Britney said it honestly blows her mind every day of her life that even after learning what they did to her, they still act like it's acceptable, and that their response demonstrates that she does not have a family who values or respects her at all. As much as she loved them, the singer admitted that it was difficult for her to accept that she probably would never be able to go on. When she writes in those circumstances, she said, she simply wants to speak honestly because it's so difficult for her, but when she goes back, she sees how many people want her to get over it.
Britney Spears wrote in her post that she is working on being stronger and revealed that she has written three different versions of her book and had lots of therapy through the process.
Lynne Spears commented under the post that she is sorry for the pain, adding that she has been sorry for years and said that she loves her and misses her. Lynne asked Britney Spears to unblock her so that she could speak to her in person and mentioned that Britney, deep down, knows how she misses her and loves her. Lynne once again apologized to her daughter for anything and everything that had hurt her.
This latest interaction between mother and daughter comes after Britney Spears revealed her conservatorship in an audio posted on YouTube. Lynne wrote on social media that her entire life, she has tried her best to support her and her dreams and wishes, and she has also tried her best to help Britney out of hardships, adding that she has never and will never turn her back on her. Lynne went on to say that her rejections from the numerous times she has flown out and called her up make her feel hopeless, and she stated that she has tried everything and loves her so much, but the conversation is just for her and her daughter, eye to eye, in private.
Britney Spears, in her audios, revealed that her mother had helped her father to set up the conservatorship, which lasted for thirteen long years, and that her mother neglected her and did not try to save her when she was miserable under the strict conservatorship. When Britney Spears got married to Sam Asghari, it was reported that none of her family members were invited to her special occasion, but Lynne, however, extended her happiness and wishes to the couple by commenting on her post, stating that she looked radiant and happy.
A source had shared that Lynne Spears has been trying for a while now to reach out to her daughter and talk to her but Britney Spears has blocked her which is why she takes the help of social media to tell her daughter that she would like to speak to her in private. A source close to Britney Spears pointed out that despite Lynne Spears’ love and affection towards her daughter, she is still requesting over $600,000 in legal fees from her.
