The Bachelorette stars Gabby Windey and Rachel Recchia defend themselves and their season.

Gabby Windey and Rachel Recchia, who will be seen in the forthcoming season of The Bachelorette, recently spoke to Entertainment Tonight about how it feels to have two leading ladies in the season, finding love, and much more.

Rachel Recchia said that the coming season of The Bachelorette is definitely going to be different from all the seasons that the audience has witnessed. Firstly, because there are two leading ladies, and secondly, because the audience will witness two different and separate journeys of them as well. Rachel also said that it’s going to be interesting to see how all of that works out and how much the audience is going to like it, and she also mentioned that she is really excited for everyone to tune in to see the new season.

A lot of people speculated about the fact that it might be confusing about how the duel star show is going to play out, but both Gabby Windey and Rachel Recchia have assured the fans that it’s an advantage to have a friend on the journey and are assured that the viewers will see it too. Rachel said during the interview that the journey for them on the new season of The Bachelorette is so different from the ones they have witnessed before or the ones they had on The Bachelor while they were competing for Clayton Echard. She said that not only is the audience going to see two love stories but also their friendship and how they lean on each other, and they are very excited for the viewers to witness friendship and love stories on the show. She also said that it’s all going to be great.

Gabby Windey also stated that she and Rachel went into the season not knowing what to expect or what lies ahead of them, but as they began their journeys, it was a trial and error, and that they are both working together, listening to themselves, figuring out what works best for both of them, and eventually following their hearts. Gabby also explained during the interview that she found her individuality and was able to distinguish her experiences from the ones of Rachel.

Gabby continued that they started off dating the same pool of men, but with time and a lot of understanding and learning, especially when one is looking forward to a life partner, the individual has to embark on their journey different from others. She added that they have to find who is best for them because the person they find is going to be the one they will be spending the rest of their life together if things work out in the best way, and concluded that one has to find their person on their own.

Rachel, on asking what kind of a person she is hoping or looking for on the show, said that she is looking for someone supportive, loyal, and ready to commit to her, whereas Gabby said that she is out here looking for someone who has a good sense of humor, emotional intelligence, and stability. Both women are excited to embark on their journey to find the love of their life, and so is the world around them.

Speaking to People magazine, Rachel Recchia and Gabby Windey said they were careful of being on the same page before they ever walked in front of the Bachelorette cameras — and maintaining in sync as the weeks went since they knew they would both be on this trip together.

According to Rachel, she believes Gabby and she just went into the situation talking to each other and understanding that they needed to communicate at all times. This strategy ended up working out for us throughout the entire process. Gabby acknowledged that they have a history together from being on Clayton Echard's season, and as a result of that season, she thought they both had the mindset to put each other first when it came to the chance of both falling for the same person.

Before stating that a man who is worth it won't make them fight over him or that they would ever put their relationship at risk for it, Gabby said that they are the greatest at knowing one other and that their connection is what matters most. They are aware that it's normal to occasionally find yourself drawn to the same guys, she said. Even though they are all fallible, there would never be anything that Rachel and she couldn't resolve on their own, especially because they always put their relationship first.

Gabby Windey and Rachel Recchia both appeared on Season 26 of The Bachelor where Clayton Echard was the leading man and were eventually announced the lead stars for The Bachelorette season 19 in March and it's the first time in the history of The Bachelorette that two women are going to co-lead a season.

The Bachelorette season 19 premieres on July the 11th on ABC.
