It was reported that singer Liam Payne and fiancée and model Maya Henry finally called it quits last week (technically they broke up last month) after the pictures of Liam Payne and model and influencer Aliana Mawla went viral, instituting that Liam Payne cheated on Maya Henry.
Now, Aliana Mawla has spoken up and set the record straight that she and Liam Payne did not get involved until after the couple split up. Aliana Mawla’s representative told E! News in a statement on May 29th that the model is very taken back by the accusations that are being made regarding her relationship with One Direction alum Liam Payne. The accusations are of Liam Payne getting involved with the model while being engaged or involved with Maya Henry.
Aliana’s representative mentioned that under no circumstances would the model have gotten involved herself in a relationship with Liam Payne if he was still involved or engaged to Maya Henry. The statement further read that Aliana Mawla is very protective of her personal life and has nothing more to say at the moment other than the fact that she is in a very happy state of mind and does not wish to discuss the situation.
Liam Payne’s representative also said that the couple had broken up last month and and the comment by Maya Henry on a fan page where a couple of fans assumed that the woman was Maya had tagged her, and she was quick to respond, stating that she was not the woman in the picture and urging fans to stop sending her a picture of her fiancé wrapped around another woman were misleading for the fans. Liam’s representative mentioned that Maya Henry’s comments where she called Liam Payne her "fiance," were not true and misleading for the audience as it was implicating that Liam Payne had cheated on her which did not happen and those comments upset Liam Payne as the couple had broken up last month.
Liam Payne and Aliana Mawla were captured together at London’s Heathrow Airport, hence confirming their romance. Maya Henry feels blindsided by the breakup as the insiders claim that Liam Payne abruptly ended the relationship with her, which left Maya Henry confused and upset because, according to her friends and sources, her stuff, including clothes and car, is still at Liam Payne’s house and all she is doing right now is trying to get it back and move on.
The former couple had their fair share of ups and downs, with breaking up and then getting back together in March, and mentioning during an interview that they were happy and still together. But it has been known that the couple finally broke things off last month. Initially, when Maya and Liam broke up, Liam Payne said in an interview that he was not very good at relationships and was not feeling the best of himself at the time and said that he needed time to work on himself before he could invest in a relationship.
Aliana Mawla and Liam Payne met in 2018 when she was featured in Liam Payne’s video "Familiar" along with J Balvin. She works as a model in America and is very active on social media as she shares snaps of brand partnerships with the likes of Fashion Nova and Missy Empire. Liam Payne has not commented on the situation himself.
