Although her 2018 Tomb Raider film did not perform as expected by the studio and the fans on the box office as it was just able to earn a total of $274 million and was based by some of the critics as bland, and a "punching bag and onlooker." While others went on to describe it as tone, grittiness, and a "capable, powerful, and unobjectified heroine."
