The 2022 American Music Awards will be broadcast live from Microsoft Theater at L.A. LIVE in Los Angeles on November 20th. Dick Clark Productions and ABC announced the nominations just a few hours ago, along with the announcement that Jesse Collins will serve as executive producer of the show, alongside Dionne Harmon and Jeanna Rouzan-Clay, and Larry Klein as producer.
According to Billboard, the 2022 AMAs will feature six new or revived categories this year: Favorite K-Pop Artist, Favorite Afrobeats Artist, Favorite Rock Song, Favorite Rock Album, Favorite Touring Artist, and Favorite Soundtrack. Favorite Trending Song was also dropped from the show.
