We all knew Billie Eilish was talented, but her SNL debut opened a door into a whole new domain of comedic acting. The Grammy Awards winner served as the host on the Saturday Night Live show and began her memorable debut with a monologue. The singer wore a festive red and white dress full of ruffles for the occasion and shared the dress style of the night telling that she “decided to dress like Mrs. Claus going to the club” and eventually also talked about the mystery behind her baggy clothes.

“It wasn’t just for comfort or for style,” said the star about her fashion style, before quipping, “This is hard to say. ... But the real reason I wore big, oversized clothes back then is, I was actually two kids stacked on top of each other trying to sneak into an R-rated movie.” Billie had wanted to act, and getting to appear on the show for the second after her first musical debut in 2019 was a dream come true.

“It was my dream to be in a movie, and I remember when that dream died,” told the star. “I was 9, and my mom wrote a film inspired by her life. This is true: She cast my brother, Finneas, as her son, she played the mom, and in the movie, she had no daughter. Yeah, I got the hint.” To prove the point home, Billie;'s mother also came on stage wearing a shirt that spotted the phrase “Finneas’ mom.” Finneas himself graced the stage later on.

The show also featured Kate McKinnon's return as Anthony Fauci, the medical advisor to President Biden. The advisor made a public service announcement about the Omicron variant. Kate joked about her own acting skills saying, “People see me on TV — they think, ‘Oh, this can’t be good,’ and the children think, ‘Wow, that Elf on the Shelf got old.”

McKinnon’s Fauci then added, “As you probably heard, there is an Omicron wave sweeping the globe. Some experts feared the Omicron variant would be vaccine-resistant, kinda like — I don’t know — 40% of Americans. More recent data suggests that if you had a vaccine and a booster, you should be pretty well protected. So if that’s you, I’d like to officially say unclench.”

Billie Eilish also parodied being a TikTok influencer as she portrayed a hospital staff member dancing to a viral dance video trend on shift. Then other cast members from the show joined and enacted a self-defense instructor, an amateur fashion critic, a thirst-trapper, a Marvel conspiracy theorist, a mommy vlogger, a Flo Rida cover artist, and more that you see on the short video platform.

In a Christmas card spoof where all the cards are a bit too revealing, Billie Eilish gets to have her own Christmas card drama. When Villaseñor, a former classmate of Billie Eilish looks at the Christmas cards, Eilish asks, “What’s new with me?” see what her card says.“Let’s see: still a b—, still richer than her and still married to my handsome yet boring husband who cheats on me,” reveals Villaseñor.

Ariana Grande had appeared on the show as a musical guest in 2014 and then later also hosted the show. The singer vowed the audience as she did an on-point impression of Jennifer Lawrence, Shakira, and Celine Dion. Another time, Lindsay Lohan had appeared on the show to perform as Hermione Granger.

The former child star was joined on set by Tina Fey and Amy Poehler. Lohan has had the honors of appearing on the Saturday Night Live shows four times until now. She hosted events in three consecutive years from 2004, 2005, and 2006. Then after a six long years interval, she returned to the show in 2012.
