Nothing is funnier than fans blowing rumors out of proportion and looking for 'ship announcements in piano reflections. Yes, you read that right! Now we are checking if a piano features a lady's reflection and if that would mean that the singer is in a relationship. 

However bizarre this may sound to you, Selena Gomez and Chris Evans fans just can't breathe until they get to know the reality behind the two's alleged relationship. Just a few days ago, some fans gave birth to another story stating that Selena Gomez's silhouette was seen on the piano as Chris Evans played a few melodious songs. Of course, the theory took flight, and now fans are once again sure of the fact that the actor and singer are dating. 

Fans have been looking too deep into the lives of Selena Gomez and Chris Evans for a while now. Just a few weeks ago, rumors had surfaced that Selena was dating Evans. While the theories were debunked due to lack of evidence, this new progress in the case has now again reopened the investigation for eagle-eyed fans. As Chris shared a video of himself on his piano through his Instagram stories, some obsessive fans came to believe that the piano features a reflection of Selena, and soon the topic was trending on TikTok. 

The video shows the Lightyear actor playing a tune on the piano. He posted the story with the caption, "Rainy day activities," which is a completely normal thing. And yet, a fan went on to declare that the reflection of a person on a lamp near Chris is Selena's, which would somehow mean that the two are dating.

The person, @girlgangz773, posted their theory on social media and captioned: "Is that Selena?! @Selena Gomez #selenagomez #chrisevans #fyp #datingrumors #PradaBucketChallenge" and also asked, "Whose the brunette filming?" The TikTok video soon became viral with over 65k views, and, of course, more fans commented and shared the video to add in their own theories to the rumors.  

People who have been supporting a potential Selena and Chris relationship for a long time soon added comments wishing the two to be together, while others went on further to find more incriminating details in the video. While one user wrote, "Can this be true please?" and another found out that Chris's wrist featured hair ties. What added more substance to the rumors is that Chris deleted the Instagram story only a few hours after having posted it.

Still, many more are of the view that the brunette could be anyone. Especially now that Selena has a bob cut, the lady in the video couldn't be her because she has long hair. Of course, fans also mentioned that such rumors are just looking too far into nothing. Hence, one person commented, "It ain't her. She has short hair," and another chimed, "I feel like that is reaching."

Whether the rumors are true or not, the two celebs are quite hushed about the whole thing and haven't yet denied or affirmed the rumors. But seeing that 2021 has given rise to a lot many relations that no one has previously anticipated, the idea of the two famous actors being together is not too far-fetched. 

Selena, for her part, has had quite an adventure where dating is concerned, having dated Justin Bieber and The Weeknd. Chris Evans, too, has high-profile exes like Jessica Biel whom he dated way back at the beginning of the 2000s and was recently also rumored to be with Lizzo. But of course, it was all a joke, and the two had a lot of fun texting after the Good As Hell singer slid into Chris's DMs. Seeing that the two run in common circles, they could get together someday. 

And it is also possible because a long while back, Selena had admitted to having a crush on Chris. In 2015, Selena had said, "I kind of have a crush on Chris Evans. Isn't he cute? ... He's very cute. He's either gonna hate me or love me." Still, so many people have a crush on the Captain America star and seeing the comments were made six years ago, we are not sure if Selena still thinks that he is cute. 

After 2015, the rumors once again had resurfaced when some Twitter users came forward with a theory of the two being at the same places twice around the time of October 1st, 2021. The fans showed pictures of Selena and Chris first leaving a studio, separately, and then a restaurant, separately again. While several dismissed the theories stating that they could be working on a project together, several others firmly held to the view that the stars are dating. Also, just around this time, both the stars started following each other on Instagram.

The evidence was, however, considered to be fake as it was revealed that the pictures dated years apart. Selena Gomez and Chris Evans did not leave those same buildings on the same day. In fact, those pictures had gaps of several years, as a few dated back to 2-13, then 2017 and 2019, and the latest of them, being taken in 2020. 

The piano-lamp reflection is the latest update in their alleged relationship, which in itself has no substance, but fans are not giving up on the two and hope they will be a couple one day. 

A fan had resorted to "Manifesting Selena Gomez with Chris Evans rumors become true," and another said, "Honestly if someone was going to date my man Chris Evans then I’m glad it’s Selena Gomez." While the relationship is not yet confirmed, many are just begging: "PLEASE CHRIS EVANS AND SELENA GOMEZ. HOLLYWOOD’S MOST ATTRACTIVE AND THE MOST POWERFUL COUPLE."

Let us wait and hope for the two to issue some kind of statement so that fans can be put out of their misery with a real answer. Still, as of now, we can only think that Selena is single as she has said, "I think people only care because I’m young, and the older I get the less they’ll care. For now, it’s a part of the job that I don’t really like. I’m actually grateful that I’m not involved with anyone right now."
