Khloe Kardashian and Tristan Thompson never had a great relationship, but things went pretty downhill when he was accused of kissing Kylie Jenner's BFF Jordyn Woods. But instead of confronting Tristan about his sketchy behavior, Khloe showed hell to Jordyn and eventually got together with Tristan claiming they had to work on their family, which also consists of the couple's daughter, True Kardashian.
However, the disgraced NBA star is once again facing infidelity claims as Maralee Nichols has come knocking with a paternity claim in tow. Tristan Thompson's paternity case was dismissed by a Texas judge as he sued the now-famous personality. As Nichols wins the case, she opened up about the alleged father of her child, to whom she gave birth earlier this month, in December 2021.
The child is the third one that Tristan has fathered, including his firstborn son Prince aged 5 whom he shares with former partner Jordan Craig and daughter True, aged 3, who was born to Khloe Kardashian. While the judge has dismissed Thomson's plea for a Houston hearing of the case, Nichols' counter-suit will be heard in California.
Talking with E! News, Nichols revealed, "Over the past couple of weeks, many inaccurate and false stories have been circulated about me. I have not at any point released—nor have I directed anyone else to release—any information regarding Tristan Thompson or any litigation involving him." She added, "I have never spoken to any media outlet, nor have I leaked any information to anyone at any time. I am providing this statement because I feel I must defend my character."
She elaborated, "I have seen fake stories, unflattering photos of me, people using photos that are not even me, stating an incorrect occupation and age." "There have been multiple fake Instagram posts claiming to be me, making false statements and attaching stock photos of a sonogram and a child (neither mine)."
The model added her version of the truth of events as she talked about meeting Tristan and said, "He told me he was single and co-parenting. I would never have gotten involved with Tristan if I thought he was in a relationship."
"I saw Tristan in March 2021 around his birthday. He told me he had wanted to see me," she explained. "I agreed to meet him in Houston at a private party on March 12. I never drove a Maserati to meet Tristan, as he claimed. He has never even been in my vehicle. I used an Uber or was driven by friends that weekend. Houston was one of many nights we spent together. Soon after his birthday weekend in Houston, Tristan invited me to visit him in Boston."
On the other hand, Thompson claimed, "The only time that I had sexual intercourse with her in 2021 was in March 2021 in Houston, Texas. I specifically remember having sexual intercourse with her in March because it was my birthday. Nichols and I attended a party together at a hotel in Houston. She had called me and wanted to be with me on my birthday."
Sharing why she claimed child support, she said, "I did not file any request for child support before our child was born. The case that Tristan brought against me was dismissed on December 15, 2021."
Admitting to having slept with Nichols, Tristan said, "Contrary to her many inferences in her declaration, we did not have a serious ongoing relationship. We saw each other sporadically between December 2020 and March 13, 2021, and did not have sexual intercourse in California during that time."
He described his relationship as that "we might see each other on a sporadic basis for consensual casual sex only. From December 2020 through March 2021, we saw each other on such a basis."
For Khloe Kardashian, who usually finds herself in the midst of the drama, the whole situation is old news. A source close to Khloe talked with Hollywood Life and shared, “After the Tristan drama unfolded, Khloe knew she would be asked questions by people everywhere she went.” The source added, “Khloe wasn’t in hiding because she made a very public appearance for the People’s Choice Awards, but that was a controlled environment where she could dictate the narrative.”
Additionally, respecting the boundaries of the NBA player and the fitness model, considering it is their child they are fighting for, Khloe has decided not to add much to the flames. The source added that Khloe will not spare “the time or energy to speak on something that’s none of her business.” As it always meant a lot for Khloe to have Tristan present for True, the source said, “At the end of the day, Tristan will always be True’s dad and that’s really all that matters.”
The child could have been conceived by Tristan as he has already agreed, but he still demands to have a paternity test. Not to mention, Maralee Nichols also provided evidence suggesting that the NBA player had tried bribing her with $750,000 to take back her paternity lawsuit.
While there is not much available about Khloe's actual stance on the whole situation, it is quite obvious that the Keeping Up With The Kardashians star is thoroughly done with Tristan and is most likely not to take him back. As the couple had already agreed to co-parent True, Tristan will have a small space reserved in the family.
An insider had shared, “He is going to be allowed to have a lifelong relationship with his daughter True and she is not going to prevent him from doing this. But as far as she is concerned, she will never get back together with him, not after this.”
Khloe is taking all of it in a stride and recently shared a post with her daughter on Instagram.
