The trailer for "Pamela: A Love Story" is here.

Pamela Anderson's Netflix documentary "Pamela, a love story," which showcases home movies of the actress as a Hollywood sex icon and mother of two, has unveiled a trailer. The Baywatch star is open regarding everything and even jokes regarding nudity and said that perhaps she should just do all the interviews naked adding that there's no mystery here.

Pamela Anderson addresses the infamous leaked sex tape with her ex-husband Tommy Lee, telling in the video that she had blocked out the whole stolen tape drama from her life to survive, but now that it's all showing up again, she feels sick. She referenced the Hulu series 'Pam and Tommy'.

Pamela Anderson articulates a desire to assume the authority of the story for the first time. She hopes to seize the narrative's control for the first time, trying to explain that she had to earn a living out of the shards that remained, but she isn't the damsel in distress. Pamela adds, laughing, that she puts herself in crazy situations and manages to survive them.

Pamela Anderson is finally telling her story in her own words, according to director Ryan White, but she doesn't know which archival videos and private diaries will be included in the final product, which will be released on the 31st of January. Ryan continued by stating that the actress gave them complete freedom to use the old footage however they saw fit to tell her story, and it's a testament to how genuinely Pamela has lived her existence.

The director stated that the actress does own every aspect of her life, whether good, bad, or ugly, and that it is an incredibly vulnerable but courageous way to live. When Ryan White was questioned how much the actress contributed to the documentary, he stated that she is very innovative and always on the move, which is the reason he prefers to define her as a fairy who is always floating, when it comes to filming, Ryan stated she was up for anything since she loves an expedition.

Ryan told the magazine that the Baywatch alum said that they could ask her anything and that nothing was off limits. However, whenever it came to the edit, Ryan asserted that she had no part at all and had no involvement in seeing the final film because, for her, it's all about the experience of creating something and planning to stay in that moment. The director admits that Anderson surprised him and turned out to be the total opposite of the preconceived idea he had about her which was basically that she is a legendary, larger-than-life caricature created by pop culture over the last 30 years.

Ryan recalled the night before they started shooting, she made dinner for him at her little roadhouse and he remembered he asked Pamela about how would she like to handle hair and makeup and she started laughing. The director continued that the actress said that she lives on an island in Canada so she will take care of her hair and makeup. The former Playboy actress chose to film with no makeup for a lot of the filming, according to White adding that it shows that she's still very much a small-town island girl, very laid-back.

Ryan White says Pamela is unapologetically Pamela, which that means, no matter how many times she's been burned or traumatized, she'll soldier along through life with that optimistic and intimate unrestricted attitude adding that it's infectious.

The official synopsis of the docuseries, Pamela: A Love Story is described as an up-close and endearing depiction of one of the world's most well-known blonde bombshells that follow the route of Pamela Anderson's career and life from small-town girl to worldwide sex symbol, actress, activist, and doting mother. Jessica Hargrave and Julian Nottingham, as well as Pamela Anderson and ex-husband Tommy Lee's older son, Brandon Thomas Lee, are serving as the producers on the docuseries.

Pamela, a love story is also going to feature the Baywatch alum's Broadway debut as Roxie Hart in Chicago.

Pamela, who worked on the docudrama with Emmy-nominated filmmaker Ryan White, has stated that she will not view it. She shared with Vanity Fair that she had given access to her archive but she has no desire to watch the final product. Pamela lastly added emphatically that she hopes her story motivates people to have fun and not feel worried so much.
