Lori Loughlin’s daughters are focusing on the good.

Three years after the college admissions scandal made it to the headlines and actress Lori Loughlin’s name was involved, a source mentioned that the family is in a good place at the moment and is focusing on the positive future.

Lori Loughlin was sentenced to two months in prison in 2020 after pleading guilty to one count of conspiracy to commit wire and mail fraud and honest services wire and mail fraud, and her husband, Mossimo Giannulli, was sentenced to five months in prison after pleading guilty to one count of conspiracy to commit wire and mail fraud and honest services wire and mail fraud. The couple was accused of bribing $500,000 in exchange for having their daughters designated as recruits to the USC crew team, even though both of them did not participate in the crew.

However, sources say Olivia Jade Giannulli and Isabella Rose Giannulli are doing very well. The insider mentioned that their friends who stood by them during the tragic time are still close to them, and they are very grateful that their friends did not abandon them. The sources said that their friends’ acts of support and sticking by them had only helped strengthen their relationships.

The sources close to the family share that Olivia Jade and Isabella Rose’s priorities shifted after the scandal broke and their parents found themselves under public scrutiny, adding that even though they did not have a full college experience, the young daughters have grown to be humble and hardworking as a result of the scrutiny. The insider said that the scandal shifted their trajectories a bit, but they are both still very entrepreneurial and focused on being successful and making their dreams come true.

Olivia Jade recently competed in Dancing With the Stars and is also back to her usual YouTube channel posting, where she has an estimated 1.8 million subscribers. Isabella Rose recently launched her podcast. The insider shared that Lori Loughlin and Mossimo Giannulli are very supportive of their daughters and are very proud of how they have handled everything, especially in public. The family is in a good place and is now hoping to leave the college scandal behind and move forward with a positive mindset.

Back in January, during an interview with Dr. Hillary Goldsher, Olivia Jade opened up about the scandal and shared that she is super aware that she has been given opportunities because of her parents and that she lives a very blessed, fortunate, and privileged life, but then there is also a part of her that feels that everything is tricky. She added that it’s tricky because it’s hard to speak. After all, she knows that she has it easy compared to the average human being.

During the interview, she stated that there is a lot of misinformation about her and that she believes, at least personally, she can get the comment that she doesn't work hard. She didn't have to start her YouTube channel when she was 14, but she did, and she worked hard. She went on to say that there are rumors about her grades and that she clearly didn't work hard to acheive them. She must have dropped out of school. Olivia stated that she does not recall ever saying this publicly, but in high school, she received straight A's and worked hard in class. Olivia stated that she completely understands why people would think this about her, and she is unsure whether she should publicly defend herself. During the discussion, she also indicated that she began therapy to heal after things went wrong in her family and with the university scandal.

Olivia explained that she just needed someone to talk to, and if one has the resource and can use it, she would recommend that they use it. She said that when she first started going to therapy, she just wanted it to be good, everything to be healed, and all of this to work overnight or within a week's span and now she feels like it's been years. Olivia said that she is still dealing with things, and she still have so many questions.

During a video segment on Dancing With The Stars, Olivia Jade vowed to reveal another side of herself through her participation in the reality competition series. She said that she is not trying to pull a pity card, but she needs to move forward and do better adding that she just wants to show people that she has a different side to her stating that she has a strong work ethic.
