According to a source close to former Saturday Night Live comedian Pete Davidson, who recently broke up with beauty mogul and SKIMS founder Kim Kardashian, has been seeking trauma therapy for online harassment he received at the hands of Kim Kardashian’s ex-husband and American rapper Kanye West.
The source shared that Pete Davidson started to seek medical help in April after Kanye West posted a lot of threatening posts against him on social media after it was reported that Pete Davidson and Kim Kardashian were seeing each other. The source explained that the attention, negativity, and hostility that came from Kanye West and his antics triggered Pete Davidson, and he thought seeking professional help was the right way to deal with it.

Pete Davidson, who recently decided to part ways from Kim Kardashian, has no regrets about dating the beauty mogul and wants it to be clear that she was nothing but supportive and kind to him during their nine-month relationship. The couple decided to call it quits after nine months of romance because of the distance between them. Pete Davidson is currently in Australia filming a movie and Kim Kardashian is with her kids and the family. The couple tried to make things work between them by staying in contact and communicating all the time but the time difference was making things hard.
Pete Davidson now wants to focus on his career, and a source has shared that the former couple still love each other and respect each other, but their busy schedule and time differences were getting in their way. Both Pete Davidson and Kim Kardashian travel a lot, and it was hard for them to keep the romance alive as Kim Kardashian has her kids as her priority.
After it was reported that the comedian and the reality TV star had called it quits, Kanye West, who is still in love with Kim Kardashian and had been wanting to reconcile with his family, shared a post (now deleted) featuring an image of the New York Times (altered) with headlines that read, "Skete Davidson Dead at 28". Kanye West refers to Pete Davidson as "Skete."
After the post was shared, both Pete and Kim’s respective teams reached out to the social media platform to express concern regarding the post. The source said that Pete Davidson's team and Kim’s team have reached out repeatedly to Instagram asking them to make the platform a safe place. The source pointed out that Kanye West's repeated attacks are one reason why Pete Davidson has been absent from social media. Kanye West has already made countless negative remarks about the former couple in the media and online. For example, in the music video for his song "Eazy," the rapper abducted, restrained, and buried a claymation version of Pete Davidson. Kanye West had also posted a screenshot of their chats on his social media.
Additionally, a source close to Kim Kardashian claims that Pete Davidson's participation in trauma counseling had no bearing on the couple's divorce. Kim Kardashian does not accept this sort of conduct from Kanye West the insider said. The source also shared that the divorce is moving forward just the way it was suppose to. The reality TV star is disappointed by the split from Pete Davidson but is now focused on her kids and career. The schedule and the fact that they lived in two separate places made it so difficult, the source continues stating the cause of the couple's breakup once more.
