Bad Bunny is not sorry.

A video of rapper Bad Bunny, real name Benito Antonio Martinez Ocasio, chucking a fan's phone into a water body became a sensation on social media earlier this week, and he now seems to have an explanation.

In the video, a fan approached Bad Bunny, as he walked down the sidewalk and placed her phone in his face, recording the conversation. After a short interaction of smiles with the fan, the musician managed to grab her phone and flung it into a nearby body of water, leaving her noticeably stunned as he kept walking.

According to TMZ, the accident happened in the Dominican Republic, and Bad Bunny stated in his elaboration on social media that anyone who turns up to him to say hi, tell him something, or simply meet him will always obtain his consideration and respect, but anyone who keeps coming up to him and tries to put a fucking phone in his face, he decided to add that he will take that act as a lack of respect and will behave accordingly.

Fans commented on the rapper's tweet with differences in opinions, with some saying that they recognize the rapper needs his private space, but he cannot be out there trying to live a normal existence as a celebrity because all eyes will be on him. Another user expressed hope that the rapper or his representatives will buy the girl a new phone, stating that regardless of what she told him, Bad Bunny had no right to throw her phone away.

Another user stated that the bottom line is that Bad Bunny cannot damage people's property, describing how he could have simply walked away from her or called security, noting that he is slowly losing touch with reality. In a recent interview with Billboard, Bad Bunny mentioned that 2023 will be the time in which he will take a vacation for his emotional and physical well-being to breath and enjoy his achievements. He did acknowledge that he has a few scattered obligations and will visit the studio, but there isn't any pressure. Bad Bunny added that people should keep in mind who they are, Cabrón, as they have put in a great deal of effort.

Last week, Bad Bunny gave out over 25,000 gifts to young and old fans at the Coliseo Roberto Clemente Walker in San Juan, Puerto Rico, as a component of the Good Bunny Foundation's Bonita Tradition donation drive.

According to the Good Bunny Foundation's Instagram, fans were given sports gear, instruments, and art supplies to take it home. Beverages and food were provided, as well as live music and a meet-and-greet with Bad Bunny. Having followed the fundraising effort, Bad Bunny filmed a substantial part of a music video for his recent hit "La Jumpa" with rap artist Arcángel in Puerto Rico's Calle Loza neighborhood, where a huge crowd managed to gather.

According to social media videos, Bad Bunny then intended to allow fans to witness an impromptu performance of several songs, including "Efecto," "El Apagón," "Gato de Noche," and "Me Porto Bonito," from the roof of a Gulf gas station.

According to Rolling Stone, José "Che Juan" Torres, director of the Good Bunny Foundation said that they want to close the year in the most positive manner possible, helping to bring a small amount of joy, keep hoping, and love to the children with just an event that takes into account the best of this time with a very special emphasis on our island's traditions.
