Kim Kardashian wants to distance herself from Kanye West.
After Kanye West’s anti-semitic tweets surfaced online, sources have revealed that Kim Kardashian is looking forward to distancing herself from her ex-husband as she is mortified by the tweets.
Kanye West sent in a tweet that he was going to death con on Jewish people and added that they have toyed with him and tried to blackball anyone who opposes their agenda. This tweet drew criticism, and the rapper's Twitter account was suspended for violating Twitter's policies. Kanye's racist remarks preceded his tweets. Instagram also removed a post he shared of text messages between himself and Diddy in which he claimed he would show the Jews who told Diddy to call him that no one could threaten or influence him.
Sources have now shared that Kim Kardashian thinks that Kanye West was completely out of line when he sent out those tweets and is now worried about how all of this is going to affect the kids. A source close to the family shared with Hollywood Life that Kim is mortified by the way Ye has been on a rampage lately and with all of his stances, she is just trying to stay away from him as much as she can to avoid being stirred into the drama. The insider shared that Kim has told Kanye that she wants nothing to do with him when he acts like this, but Ye does not seem to care.
Another source shared that even though she is mortified by the tweets, she is not surprised, but she fails to understand why Ye feels the need to be so combative towards people. Now, the beauty mogul is only concerned about the kids, and the source said that when Kanye West says something controversial like this, it does not hurt only him but the kids as well, which is something Kim Kardashian is worried about. They explained that no matter what the situation was, Kim would never keep their kids away from him, but she just hoped that he would start making choices or saying things keeping the kids in mind, and responding to situations in a better way.
Another source close to Kim stated that she wishes to distance herself from the rapper. She will never be able to cut him out of her life, but she also knows she cannot support a man who makes such truly horrific racist comments that have hurt so many of her closest friends they said. Kim is concerned that her children will learn about the controversy surrounding their father. She has done her best to keep them in the dark about everything, but she is aware that they have a plan. North has a phone, and she can't go online without coming across something about this. According to the insider, Kim dreads the day when they come to her and ask about these things.
It was also reported that because she feels she needs to distance herself from Kanye West for a while, she has stopped communicating with him without the presence of a third party, adding that they have had zero communication in several weeks and that all communication regarding the children's schedules is now coordinated through assistants. Kim Kardashian filed for divorce from Kanye West in 2021 after seven years of marriage. Another insider shared that Ye's behavior was the catalyst for the divorce which everyone is now seeing for themselves.
In the past, it was shared that whenever Kanye West would spiral and try to destroy whatever was in his way, Kim Kardashian was the person everyone would call to get the rapper to calm down and get help. The source explained that it was just Kim Kardashian who could get him to snap out of his dark mental state and someone he would actually listen to but things changed over a period of time. They added that Kim Kardashian felt it was best to end their marriage after she realized that she cannot help someone who didn't want to be helped. But the beauty mogul has never spoken about Ye in a bad light in public and has always maintained that whatever happens, he is always going to be family.
