It is almost weird to imagine many of today's famous stars living a normal life, playing on curbsides, or once being students like everybody.

But before we became accustomed to countless celebrities, they lived through pretty monotonous lives just like us, went to public schools, faced high school heartbreaks, and made lifetime friends at school.

Surprisingly enough, many celebrities attended the same schools and knew each other before becoming international sensations. It would be a very proud moment for those schools, seeing their alum achieve the best in life and earn fame, and even prouder if more than one student made it big.

Here is a list of all the big celebrities that attended the same schools. Many became Hollywood sweethearts, besties, and others don't remember each other much.

Rachel Bilson and Rami Malek

Both Bilson and Malek attended Notre Dame high school, California, before going their separate ways to become Oscar winners and famous actors.

Rachel shared her high school experience with Rami in a podcast, 'Armchair Expert,' and told Dax Shepherd that she and Rami were great friends back in school. Apparently, Bildos wasn't surprised when Malek became famous or got his oscar.

She explained, 'So Rami was a good friend of mine; we were in the same crew, we did The Crucible together senior year. We kind of kept in contact a little bit. So obviously, he gets super famous, and he's always been super talented, a really amazing actor even in high school.'

When Malek earned his awards for Queen superstar Freddie Mercury, Bilson posted an appreciative post nodding to their friendship and Malek's genius. "'It was the dorkiest picture of both of us, but I put it up because it was funny, and I think it's important to be able to make fun of yourself," she said.

Malek, however, is a more keep it under the sheets kind of person and requested Bilson to delete the post. Bilson quickly took down the picture, but the celebrity friends don't seem to be on great terms any longer.

Kirsten Dunst is also one of the famous alumni of the same school.

Camila Mendes and Cole Sprouse

Camila attended New York University alongside the famous Mendes twins. The twins graduated a year earlier in 2015 and Camila in 2016.

Talking about her time in the uni and acquainting with the twins, Camila said that she definitely remembers the time from her uni years, but Cole not so much. In her interview with Office, Camila said that Cole was a weird kid, and they rarely ever talked.

"I saw him around, and there was a time when we had class in the same building, so I would always see him outside," she said. "He was a weirdo! He had really long hair down to his butt cheeks. He was really shy too. I would see him at parties sometimes and I always kind of randomly talked to his brother, but I never got a chance to talk to him because he was more to himself."

The 'Riverdale' costars are good friends now, yet Cole doesn't seem to remember Camila from the time when they were in the same college. "Cole always laughs when I tell him that because I remember meeting him on certain occasions, and he doesn't," said Camila.

The 'Suits' actresses who got to live the royal life for over a year, marrying the most desirable bachelor (read, prince) of the decade, attended Immaculate Heart high school, Los Angeles with 'West End' fame Katharine Foster.

The famous actresses were together in high school musicals, while Meghan was two years senior to Katharine and was in her sister's class. Recalling their high school musical performances, Katharine revealed, 'She was actually in my sister's class — two years older than me. My sister did shows with her; I did two shows with her when I was a seventh-grader or eighth-grader. They were obscure musicals. I think one was called Yankee Doodle. I don't know if there are videos of her singing, but she's a really good singer.''

The actress also shared a throwback picture with Meghan Markel on HER Instagram handle, captioned: 'Meghan and I did musicals together as kids. She grew up to be the Duchess of Sussex, and I grew up to star on the West End, so same life if you ask me. #TBT.'

Ansel Elgort is popular for his young-adult tragedy 'The Fault in Our Stars' and dystopian movie 'Divergent.' Timothee Chalamet, too, has become a hit heartthrob, and his famous works like "Call Me by Your Name" are publicly well-acclaimed and considered one of the best coming-of-age movies.

The two actors continue to be good friends after attending New York City's LaGuardia High School of Music and Art and Performing Arts together. Another celebrity to join them in school was Lourdes Leon, daughter of Madonna, who dated Timothee for an unclear amount of time.

Explaining how surprising it was for both of them to make it big, Elgort wrote in an Instagram post, "It's really crazy, Timmy and I played on the same basketball team, we had the same drama teacher, Mr. Shifman, we had the same science teacher, Mr. Singh, and then in the same year, both of us are nominated for a f$&king Golden Globe!!! Living the dream sitting courtside at the Knicks game together. Life is crazy. Congrats to you, Timmy."

The 'Iron Man' actress met Kerry Washington in Spence School in New York City and have stayed good friends.

Talking about their school days, Paltrow said that Washington had auditioned for her a cappella group when Paltrow was about to graduate. She was instantly smitten with Washington's beauty and voice.

'This is so surreal... I was in a singing group called Triple Trio. We were holding auditions because a bunch of us were graduating and in walks Kerry Washington. The most beautiful—first of all, your face has not changed. No aging whatsoever—This beautiful eighth-grader comes in so confident. She opened her mouth, and the most exquisite voice came out.'

The two had attended the Goop interview together.
