Although Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania is far away from its current set release date of 28th July 2023, the film stars have already started teasing major details about the film. Evangeline Lilly, who will be seen taking on Jonathan Majors' supervillain character Kang the Conqueror in the role of Hope Van Dyne also known as The Wasp in the film, has teased that the kind of big impact the film will have over the entire Marvel Cinematic Universe.

"So, Ant-Man, the brand, has always existed outside of the Marvel Cinematic Universe mythology machine, So, we've had a lot of freedom to kind of come and go as we please, and like, make stories that are stand-alone little pieces, sweet family pieces. And definitely, the breadth of this one is... grander," the 42-year-old 'Lost' actress Lilly explained while speaking on the podcast Lights, Camera, Barstool podcast.

While speaking in the podcast, Evangeline Lilly did not talk a lot about her upcoming superhero blockbuster Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania, the superstar in another one of her interviews did cover the film.

Lilly gave an update on the film and said that she had read the script of the film. "We're just a little over halfway through. And I will say that after I read the script of the film, I did have a kind of eureka moment, I said to [director Peyton Reed], 'Oh my God, I think I finally get her.' Three or four films in, I thought, 'I think I get it now,'" she said.

Lilly further discussed some details about her superhero character Hope Van Dyne. "But I don't think anyone else will. I think I'm a good bluffer. That's what I do for a living, But I know the difference and I'm hopeful that in this one, I'll feel like I can watch it and go, 'Yeah, you had a better handle on her in this one than you ever have before.' That's my goal, anyway. That's my hope," she added

While Evangeline Lilly as Hope van Dyne aka Wasp will appear in Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania, she will be joined by other cast members which include Paul Rudd in the role of Scott Lang also known as Ant-Man, Michael Douglas in the role of Hank Pym, Michelle Pfeiffer in the role of Janet van Dyne, Kathryn Newton in the role of Cassie Lang and Jonathan Majors in the role of Kang the Conqueror, the main villain of the film who is a "time-traveling, multiversal adversary"

The film is directed by Peyton Reed with the story written by Jeff Loveness and it is produced under Marvel Studios with the distribution under the banner of Walt Disney Studios in association with Motion Pictures. Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania is heavily inspired by the American comic book publication known as Marvel Comics, where the fictional superhero characters Hope van Dyne aka Wasp, and Ant-Man continue to make their appearance. The film is a follow-up to the Ant-Man and the Wasp released back in 2018.
