Jason Derulo’s ex-girlfriend and baby mama Jena Frumes slammed a troll on Instagram and shared why her relationship with Jason Derulo never worked.
Jena Frumes took to her social media to share a gorgeous bikini picture with a positive message that read, "You are beautiful, you are worth it, and you are irreplaceable." Trolls were quick to comment and shot the positivity in the model down with hateful comments.
The model, influencer, Jena Frumes and singer Jason Derulo who had lately stoked rumors of a reunion dispelled them by posting a screenshot of a user who had said that since they were not married, their child is a bastard, and added that the model is acting like the whore, and they have their values messed up.
Jena Frumes stated that she would not refer to herself as a whore but regretted that she and the singer's relationship did not work out because they had once hoped to get married. However, many now think that being single would be preferable to being in a union when they are constantly treated with contempt, deceived, and lied to. Jena Frumes observed that it is better to be quiet than to get the acceptance of others.
The singer's connection and the decision to split with Jena Frumes was then further explained in her tale. She also stated that women do not deserve to be treated and criticized in the manner in which they are and that no one wishes to be a single mother. The realization that she is alone in this is the worst heartache and failure for Jena, but she said that if your non-negotiables are being put to the test, you will never be able to find peace in that relationship, no matter how much you try to make it work.
According to the post, it seems like Jena Frumes wanted Jason Derulo and her to be a family, but eventually she realized that it was just her who was doing the work to make it work. She said that she would never agree to a man choosing a different female every week over his family and that they'll never make it work. Because she would never be alright with sharing the love of her life with someone else, she concluded that she had been clear and direct in her attitude that she should not turn the other cheek. Jena continued in her post that she does not receive any child support and all she ever wanted was a family to love and experience life with.
Jena Frumes continued by saying that people should stop criticizing women for choosing to be single moms if they are unable to change the fact that the streets come first. She said that this is upsetting and that women had to struggle hard every day to try to make things work. Finally, she said that for her, dating a famous person or having the money were never factors; rather, it was all about the love she had for him and their plans to have a child and live together. It didn't work out, but Jena maintained that life must continue on and that people should leave her alone.
The couple was well known for their on-again and off-again relationship but they welcomed their baby boy in 2021 and decided to go their separate ways for good in September. Jason Derulo took to his social media to announce that the couple have decided to part ways and said that she is an amazing mother to their son but they feel being apart at this time will allow them to be the best version of themselves and be the best parents they could be to their son. Jason Derulo at the time urged the fans to give them the privacy needed.
Jason Derulo opened up previously about co-parenting with Jena Frumes and said that they do not care if people are confused about their situation because it’s their thing to deal with. He said that they love their son more than anything and for them, it’s his well-being that is important and he is attentive to her well-being as well he wants to be good to her and cares about her.
Jason Derulo is yet to comment on Jena Frumes' take on why their relationship did not work out.
