Megan Fox opens about the challenges of motherhood!

Megan Fox recently appeared in Glamour’s April cover story where she candidly the pressures she faces as a parent and how she was once labeled as a very hard person to work with.

During the interview, talking about her image of being difficult to work with that came after she called the director Michael Bay a nightmare to work with which was followed by an open letter written by three anonymous crew members from Transformers, describing the actress as Ms. Sourpants, which branded her unprofessional and then bitch, and someone suggested that she should be a pornstar, which gave her a reputation as being difficult to work with. Megan Fox describes that it led her to take a step back and stay away from the limelight as much as she could because she was not allowed to be a human.

Megan Fox was asked about her thoughts on social media, and she stated that she has one, but she does not use it personally. Instead, she asks someone else to post the pictures or posts for her, but she specifies exactly what she wants to be posted. Megan added that she finds social media sinister which is why she keeps her family away from the social media.

Megan Fox, who shares three children with their ex-husband Brian Austin Green, also talked about the pressures she faces as a parent, and the interviewer described her emotions as raw and moving as she broke down in tears. Megan is usually very private about her family, but she shared that it’s hard for her because she travels for long periods and the kids have to attend school. She wishes she could take them with her, but she added that school is important.

The actress gets candid and mentions that she cries often (every new moon, she said) about it because it’s really hard for her to manage and not because of the pressure that anybody puts on them or because of society, but Megan says that it’s because she finds it very hard to stay away from them as they are her DNA. The mother of three shared during the interview that just like everyone else, she finds herself thinking about maybe she is not doing a good job, but she can only have them half the time, and that is what it is. When her kids are with their father, Megan tries to do things for her.

During the interview, Megan Fox opens up about how her eldest son, Noah, likes to wear dresses and how she wants to protect her child from being bullied because of choosing something that his heart desires. She added that Noah began wearing dresses when he was two years old and that she had purchased several books to address these issues and explain the entire scope of the situation. Megan stated that she has managed to incorporate things that are necessary for her children's everyday lives since they were small so that none of them feel unfamiliar, strange, or different.

The Transformers actress mentioned that she cannot control the way people react to her kids; she cannot control what the other kids at their school have been taught and repeat them, and that is why she avoids putting her children on her social media. She went on to praise the children and express her admiration for them, saying that she is extremely proud of them. She went on to explain that her older son, Noah, is an incredible pianist who can learn Mozart's concerto in one hour. She wanted people to see it, but she also wanted to keep them safe and protected from the harsh world.

Megan mentioned that she sends her kids to a school where the other parents are similar in their beliefs and the kids are not on the internet and know that their parents are famous but have limited knowledge of it. The actress also mentions that she knows that she cannot protect them forever and that worries her a lot as a mother, although she adds that her kids are brave and have chosen this journey for a reason.

Towards the end of the interview, the interviewer asked Megan Fox about what she would like her legacy to be, to which she said that she wants to be remembered as someone brave and unafraid to explore and become herself, regardless of anyone else’s commentary. She also added that she would like her legacy to be about someone who helped others to find themselves similarly or helped them to feel love, to feel self-love, and to be able to give that love to their children and their family.
