A Queen takes a stand for a Queen!
On Sunday, pop queen Britney Spears posted a video of herself apologizing to her fans for the way she dances. She said in the video that she had recorded 30 videos of her dancing when she was in Maui, which seemed fun to her, but maybe everyone wouldn’t appreciate it because they make fun of the way she dances.
Britney added in the video that she is just trying to move and express her body the way she likes, and that’s healing for her. The singer mentioned that therapy is all about mind work and she has done that for 10 hours a week for 7 days a week, but she would rather not do that and let her mind and soul heal on their own, and dancing is one way that works for her.
The singer finally added that she is aware that her actions are not perfect and people don’t perceive them the way she wants them to, but she is happy with her body moving and she hoped that people would get it. Britney finally added that she’s learning and urged her fans to bear with her.
Nicki Minaj came out in support of Britney Spears as she commented on her post that how can she even say that she is not the best dancer? Nicki commented and urged Britney to put her crown back on and leave it there. She added, lastly, that Britney is the best dancer.
Britney and Nicki collaborated back in 2011 along with Kesha for the official remix of Britney Spears’ single "Till the World Ends" and it went on to be one of the most successful songs of the singer. It was a really sweet gesture from Nicki Minaj to support and motivate Britney Spears, who came out of a 13-year-long conservatorship in November and is taking her time to heal and come back to music.
