Raquel Leviss opens up about the upcoming season of Vanderpump Rules and working with ex- James Kennedy.
During a recent appearance at Tom Schwartz and Tom Sandoval’s bar, Schwartz & Sandy’s opening party hosted by DailyMail.com and TMX in Los Angeles, Raquel Leviss spoke to E! News where she talked about how she prepared herself to get back to work with ex-James Kennedy while filming for season 10 of the hit and successful Bravo series.
Raquel Leviss and James Kennedy broke up after five years in November 2021, just seven months after their engagement. While James Kennedy is currently dating Ally Aweber, Raquel Leviss is currently single and leaning on her friends from the show, Scheana Shay and Ariana Madix, for support. The former couple took to their social media to share in November that after five wonderful years they had decided that they had different goals and made the tough decision to call off their engagement and go their separate ways.
The statement continued that they love each other very much but aren’t in love anymore but said that they want nothing but the best for each other. Raquel Leviss mentioned that the audience might see Ally Lweber on the show since she is dating James Kennedy now and described her as sweet and said that she is very much like her. Raquel said that when she spoke to Ally, she realized that she loved a lot of things about James, like how funny, charismatic, passionate, and hardworking he is, and wished the new couple all the best.
When asked how she is holding up, Raquel Leviss said that the former couple is cordial and mentioned that she has not seen James since they broke up in November of last year, so when they started to film, it was a new situation for her to be in, but so far things are looking good. She added that she genuinely thinks that both of them want what’s best for both of them and they are supporting each other in that way.
Raquel Leviss said that she spent some time mentally preparing for being around her ex and admitted that she saw him at SUR for the first time, so she was working and just trying to stay focused on her tables and not think too much about him because she did not want to work herself up like that.
Raquel Leviss has also grown close to Tom Sandoval and said that he is becoming one of her best friends lately and added that he is just so in touch with himself and fully accepting of who he is and he is so confident about himself, which is just commendable. Raquel added that she feels that he looks at her like his little sister and has been supporting her in that way, before mentioning that he is a great guy.
On asking what season 10 looks like for Vanderpump Rules, Raquel Leviss said that she is simply going with the flow and it’s a whole new vibe for her and she is finding her independence. It is known that Raquel Leviss has been on a few dates with co-star Peter Madrigal but is not looking for anything serious at the moment. Raquel Leviss shared with Us Weekly that Peter Madrigal asked her out after her breakup, and she said yes in the hopes of trying out something new, but clarified that she does not want to be in a relationship for a while.
She said that she is in the process to trying to accept of who she is and continue to grow from there and added that she feels that she has learned a lot of things from previous seasons that she will be taking onto this season as well. Raquel concluded that she is happy and confident and radiating like never before. The cast of Vanderpump Rules have started to film for their upcoming tenth season.
