The still ongoing pandemic has served to upturn many households and happy families around the globe. Yet foundations like the GO Campaign are trying to provide aid and relief to countless homes out there and raise funds for a better future after the pandemic.

The 15th anniversary of the GO Campaign Gala was recently held to mark the organization's annual event of fundraising from the wealthy of Hollywood. Just like the 2020 event, the fundraising Gala was held virtually for the most part. Yet the hosts and a few other ambassadors headed to the Cornerstone Plaza in Los Angeles to steer the event. The event was held online in the wake of the events of the ongoing pandemic, and with the Covid 19 protocols followed to the T.

The esteemed hosts of the virtual event this year were Lily Collins and Robert Pattinson, who was later Ewan McGregor, the ambassadors of the organization. The annual fundraiser this year thrived to collect funds to aid the efforts of the non-profit's Covid relief programs.

The event was also marked as an occasion to help along with racial justice in the US. Other pressing matters to be vouched for the gala as marked by its website, OneCause.com, include the education efforts for the children of Latin America and Africa, with further efforts spanning to aid education for girls in Afghanistan.

The ambassadors, Robert Pattinson, Lily Collins, and Ewan McGregor, hosted the 2021 event from the Los Angeles venue as the 15th annual GO Campaign Gala picked pace. Robert Pattinson has been serving the Gala as its ambassador since way back in 2015. Lily Collins joined the NGO in 2018 and became the first female ambassador of the organization. The hosts, of course, set out in style for the event and wowed people with their effortless charm.

Lily Collins sure knows how to turn heads with her bright yellow outfit that added color to the otherwise monotone event. She chose a non-conventional dress and pants pair, which was carried to a perfect elegance by the Emily in Paris actress.

The star, aged 32, opted to completely recreate the runway look of the AZ factory that first debuted the dress and went to opt for a similar look as was seen on the high-fashion ramp. The Twilight fame actor, now seen as Batman along with Zoe Kravitz, went with a traditional black suit for the event and still looked quite handsome, to say the least.

The first female ambassador of the GO Campaign Gala made her appearance count with a ruffled yellow dress by the AZ factory. The history-making actress co-hosted the event in a bright yellow AZ Factory mini-dress. The dress, designed by exceptional Israeli Designer Alber Elbaz, debuted a non-traditional, asymmetrical approach on its hemline.

The puffed-up dimensional dress gave way to an asymmetric silhouette and was made further eye-catching using a ruched seams technique that added much character to the shape. The full dress shape also featured a big panel rising from the hips and protruding outwards from the dress silhouette.

Strongly taking after how the brand had originally meant the dress to be worn, Lily Collins paired the extraordinary ensemble with black pants that ran with bright yellow stripes matching the dress. She opted for a pair of point-toe pumps in the footwear department and kept her makeup to a minimal glow. However, she styled her hair onto a sleek back-do, which surely added much depth to the extremely sophisticated look. Though the dress is not available on the AZ Factory website at the moment, a few great alternatives can be searched on the internet.

The onscreen and now even real-life hero, Robert Pattinson has been helping save the world with one GO Campaign Gala a year. The ambassador of the non-profit organization since 2015 this year went with a chic black Dior suit to plead the case of countless people out there in need of help. The suit was worn along with a white dress shirt, and the fun ensemble completed off with a black pair of dress shoes.

The event is covered by private investors that help operate and run the campaign and the organization. Fully operated by public donations, the GO Campaign is run on a program basis, with the donors given an open choice of picking a program they would like to back up.

Explaining further about how the GO Campaign is slowly helping the world become a better place to live, Robert Pattinson told People a few days prior to the hosting of the event," GO Campaign has a proven track record of making real, meaningful change in communities around the world."

Moreover, he added, "The funds raised at the GO Gala bring opportunities and resources to some of the most vulnerable children that may otherwise be left behind. Every dollar donated to the GO Campaign is a dollar invested wisely in the future generation."

More about the initiative

The non-profit organization was founded in 2006 and then labeled GO Campaign to support and facilitate relief measures for children and those in need. The projects held by the Gala include vocational training, human rights education, administering medical care, and more.

The annual event is a means to bring the rich celebrities and the wealthy of Hollywood together to pick and partner on projects and help better a few things in the world. The programs could feature anywhere from fieldwork, social activism, support, and the Gala is made exciting by bringing in the best entertainers of the industry. This year, SIA, Jewel, MILCK, and Levi Evans made an appearance at the event.

The event this year held an online auction, where celebrities donated funds for the vision, and also for prizes like a vacation to Paris as a courtesy of Air France.
