Marvel Studios Black Widow actor O-T Fagbenle has finally reacted to Scarlett Johansson's lawsuit against The Walt Disney Company.

The English actor shared his thoughts on the lawsuit against Disney while appearing in an interview.

He said, "I mean, honestly, I'm not the most informed on this thing, so I would love to talk with somebody to learn about it, I just don't know. Ultimately, I do believe that all workers should get paid fairly. And, to be honest, the workers I think about most are those who are on minimum wage, I think about those who are in, you know, working in the sweatshops that provide our clothes. That's really my main concern when I think about unfair labor."

The actor, writer, and director Fagbenle with his statement really do not seem to come down on Johansson's side as his and Johansson fans would have liked.

Recently, the Chief Executive Officer of Walt Disney Company Bob Chapak was also seen reacting to the lawsuit filed against his company by Johansson.

Chapak, while making an appearance at the Goldman Sachs Communacopia Conference gave a hint about Scarlett Johansson's lawsuit and said that his company is working on changing the terms and conditions of its contract policy.

The CEO of the media conglomerate said, “Certainly the world is changing, and the talent deals going forward will have to reflect the fact that the world is changing."

He further added, "So, we’re sort of putting a square peg in a round hole right now where we’ve got a deal conceived under a certain set of conditions, that actually results in a movie that is being released in a completely different set of conditions.”

“So there’s a bit of a reset going on right now," he continued. "Ultimately, we’ll think about that as we do our future talent deals and plan for that and make sure that’s incorporated."

The English actor O-T Fagbenle with his comments on Scarlett Johansson's lawsuit has added himself to the list of various other Hollywood stars such as Benedict Cumberbatch and Elizabeth Olsen who reacted to the lawsuit.

Last week, the 36-year-old actress Scarlett Johansson was even praised by Legendary actress of her time Jamie Lee Curtis for her lawsuit against the media company.

The 62-year-old Jamie Curtis said that Johansson is a fierce mother and she could fight for her rights till her last breath.

Curtis said, "I recently watched her own the screen as the Black Widow, who exacts revenge on a powerful figure who manipulates (emphasis on man) women to fight for him,"

The two times Golden Globe Award winner added, "And then I saw her brilliant response to a real-life manipulation (same emphasis), when she filed a breach-of-contract lawsuit against the studio, alleging its decision to release the film simultaneously in theatres and on streaming cost her substantial loss in pay."

She further added, 'Whether as an assassin with a conscience, an actor with an emotional center or, having just given birth to her second child, a fierce mother, the message is clear: Don't f**k with this mama bear.'

Scarlett Johansson who portrays the role of Black Widow also known as Natasha Romanoff in Marvel Studios Black Widow film filed a lawsuit in Los Angeles's Supreme Court against Disney this year back on 29th July.

Her attorney claimed that the media and entertainment company Disney breached the agreements of the official contract by simultaneously releasing Scarlett Johansson's Black Widow film on its over-the-top streaming service platform Disney+ and theatres.

The document submitted by Johansson indicates that the actress is suing Disney for intentional interference with contractual relations and inducing a breach of contract.

The lawsuit stated, "Why would Disney forgo hundreds of millions of dollars in box office receipts by releasing the Picture in theaters at a time when it knew the theatrical market was ‘weak,' rather than waiting a few months for that market to recover?"

"On information and belief, the decision to do so was made at least in part because Disney saw the opportunity to promote its flagship subscription service using the Picture and Ms. Johansson, thereby attracting new paying monthly subscribers, retaining existing ones, and establishing Disney+ as a must-have service in an increasingly competitive marketplace."
