On Monday, October 18, 2021, Blink-182 drummer Travis Barker proposed to Kourtney Kardashian, Keeping Up With The Kardashians star and Poosh Founder, at the Rosewood Miramar hotel with an oval-cut diamond ring estimated to be worth $1 million, and she clearly said YES!

Later that evening, the Poosh creator announced the news on Instagram, releasing two photographs from the proposal. "Forever,"  Kardashian wrote with photos of the couple hugging at twilight in a circle of red roses and candles. Following the proposal the family of the couple had a dinner and shared pictures stating how happy the entire family is with the news.

The news of their engagement spread like wildfire on the Internet, and everyone wondered how Scott Disick, Kourtney's on-again, off-again ex-boyfriend and father of her children, was reacting. According to Page Six, the 'Talentless' founder is having a hard time dealing with the news of 'Kourtney Kardashain and Travis Barker's engagement.'

"Scott is stewing over Kourtney and Travis' engagement and not happy at all," a source told Entertainment Tonight.  The source added, "He's single and not in a relationship right now, and he's envious of how well things are going for Kourtney. Scott wishes he could go back in time to when he and Kourtney were just co-parenting and didn't have anyone else in their lives romantically. "

According to another insider, Scott is going 'crazy' over his on-again, off-again ex-girlfriend Kourtney Kardashian's engagement to Travis Barker, whom she has been dating for a few months. "Scott can't stand being around Barker and Kourt because it's difficult for him,"  the source claimed, "but he'll always be a part of the Kardashian family."

According to reports, Scott Disick was aware of the impending engagement and was saddened by the news. "Scott is really sad about it, and is feeling low," a source says. "Of course, he still cares about Kardashian. He will always care for Kourtney. No one else can compare to her as the mother of his children", the source added.

"Scott is going insane with the news," Page Six added. He's going to throw himself into the deep end. It's terrible, and it's just going to get worse."  It was also alleged that the Kardashian-Jenner family was aware of the proposal but did not inform him of it. "He found out with the rest of the world; he wasn't given a heads-up like the rest of the family because they didn't want him to spoil it for Kourtney," a source said. The family did not gave Scott any heads up because they believed they could have caught him doing something stupid, such as confessing his love for her. Kourtney didn't need to be involved because it was a private moment for her.  Scott was also having trouble accepting Kourtney's affection for Travis, which Kourtney was well aware of.

While the former "Flip It Like Disick" actor, 38, may not be overjoyed by the proposal, but he did give his permission to Kardashian's relationship with the Blink-182 drummer during the June "Keeping Up With the Kardashians" reunion. "I mean, absolutely," Disick said flatly when asked if he'd "bless" the couple's relationship by Andy Cohen. "I believe that if you truly care about someone, you want them to be happy no matter what." As a result, I do wish her happiness." (Clearly he does not)

In late August, Scott allegedly DM'd Kourtney's ex-boyfriend Younes Bendjima, indicating his apparent disdain of the couple. Younes posted a picture of the message, in which Scott is said to have said, "Is this girl all right???? What the hell is this? Located in the heart of Italy." "It doesn't matter to me as long as she's happy," allegedly said Bendjima, who allegedly screenshotted the messages and then posted them. "PS: I ain't your bro," says the narrator.

From 2017 until 2020, the Flip-It Like Disick alum dated Sofia Richie before romancing Amelia Gray Hamlin earlier this year. The couple broke up in September, and Disick isn't ready to date again just yet.

The on-again, off-again romance between Scott and Kourtney began in 2006. They dated for ten years, during which time Mason, Penelope, and Reign were born, but they never married. But, over the Fourth of July weekend in 2015, Kourtney broke up with Scott for the final time. "Kourtney has always taken Scott back and remained by his side, but now with three kids it has become old," a source said at the time, explaining why the Poosh guru was irritated with Scott's behavior.

Scott Disick according to the source, has "always thought" that he and Kourtney would end up together, which is why he has struggled to let go. Shanna Moakler, Travis' ex-girlfriend, uploaded a picture to her Instagram account after the announcement, writing that she is "temporarily closed for spiritual upkeep."
