The 14-year-old Lia McHugh, set to be introduced in Marvel Studios The Eternals along with other members of the superhero squad, says in an interview with DISH Nation's Andrew Freund, and her co-star Kit Harington, that her superhero team Eternals is "more powerful" than the fan-favorite Earth's mighty superheroes squad Avengers.

"I mean, I gotta stick with my team, of course. Of course the Eternals, right? We have cosmic, unlimited energy superpowers from gods," Lia McHugh said while discussing the immortal superheroes set to be featured in the much-awaited movie who were living secretly from people of planet earth for thousands of years. "I think that we may be more powerful than the Avengers. I'd like to see that showdown."

The Game of Thrones star Harington added by saying that he would go with the Avengers when it comes to choosing between Avengers and Eternals as they were the ones who saved the human species in studio 2019's blockbuster Avengers Endgame. "I feel as a human, the Avengers would [win], I've got to give it at the moment to the Avengers. They saved us humans [in Avengers: Endgame], so I'm sticking with loyalty."

Along with introducing the fans to ten new powerful superheroes, the films will also have a major impact on the future of the Marvel Cinematic Universe as previously revealed by its director Chloe Zhao in an interview. "But I do think we will have a very big effect on the future of the MCU with what happens in this film. Which, you know, as a fan, is really satisfying for me! I geek out. One big way that it will have an effect in the world knowing of their existence potentially, but also the addition of new characters like Kit Harington as Dane Whitman, a.k.a. the Marvel Comics hero Black Knight," Zhao explained.

In addition to Chloe Zhao as the film director, the movie features Kumail Nanjiani in the role of Kingo, Salma Hayek in the role of Ajak; a female character who was originally a male character in the comic book, Angelina Jolie in the role of Thena, Brian Tyree Henry in the role of Phastos, Richard Madden in the role of Ikaris, Gemma Chan in the role of Sersi, Lauren Ridloff in the role of Makkari, Lia McHugh in the role of Sprite, Barry Keoghan in the role of Druig, Don Lee in the role of Gilgamesh, Kit Harington who will be reuniting with Richard Madden after Game of Thrones in the role of Dane Whitman in The Eternals with many additional actors including Harish Patel, Haaz Steiman as Phastos' husband, Ozer Ercan as a smuggler and Zain Al Rafeea in an unknown role.

While the film is based on the fictional superhero characters Eternals, created by the legendary artist and writer Jack Kirby that appears in Marvel Comics, it is distributed by Marvel Studios with the distribution under the name of Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures. Patrick Burleigh, Ryan Firpo, and Kaz Firpo serve as the screenplay writer of the film.

Marvel Studios The Eternals is finally arriving in theaters on November 5th, 2021, after a lot of delays caused due to the ongoing Coronavirus Pandemic because of which theaters all over the world had to be shut down.
