She and Robert got committed in the year 2019. Mia said on her Instagram statement that she and her husband have been trying to sort out their issues for almost a year but have been incapable of doing so. “We can indeed say that we tried to do our best to make our relationship work, but after more than a year of trying, we walked away knowing that we have a friend in each other and that we have a future together.

"We will always love and respect each other because we realise that our breakup was the result of an accumulation of fundamental, irreconcilable disagreements that neither of us can blame on the other," she confessed.

We're finishing this chapter with no sadness and beginning a new one, separated but connected by a lovely family, friends, and a passion for our pets. This has been a long time coming, but we're happy we took our time and gave it our all, so now we can say we gave it our all."

She had previously written a touching note on the occasion of their anniversary. "@robertsandberg, happy anniversary! Thank you for your decision which you've made for us in America, and for the coffee that never fails to wake me up in the early mornings, and full stomachs of tasty meals, and a million other insignificant things that come with being married to a man like you. We might be able to share wedding photos one day, on June 11th. "I adore you. She said in the caption.

The couple was planning to get married in June 2020, but it was postponed because of the Covid-19 pandemic. The pair did, however, exchange wedding vows at their home in the same month. Following the epidemic, Mia and Robert planned to throw a lavish party for their close friends and family. However, many people were taken aback by their announcement of their split.
