Ayesha Curry has finally addressed the rumors about her marriage to Stephen Curry!
According to reports, Ayesha Curry took to social media to clarify the rumors that she and Stephen Curry to whom she has been married for over 10-years are in an open relationship. In a post that she shared of her husband’s GQ cover shoot with a caption, "Good gracious God almighty @stephencurry30..my baby's @gq cover shoot”, followers started to comment and ask Ayesha about the status of marriage.
After reading a lot of comments on the post, Ayesha replied to one of the comments that read, “But yet you still want an open relationship smh. If I were him you woulda been sent to the streets already”. She replied to the comment which has now been deleted that, “Don’t believe everything you read. Do you know how ridiculous that is? Don't disrespect my marriage like that. Please and thank you.”

The comments of the fans and followers on Ayesha’s post about her and Stephen’s marriage being an ‘open relationship’ agreement comes after a gossip blog side ‘@Deuxmoi’, shared that the NBA couple may be living a life that their fans are not privy to, further claiming that that the couple is not in a monogamous relationship. The source claimed, “I have it on good authority that this well-known NBA couple aren’t as faithful in love as their social media and image make them out to be! They both have side hookups and flings but keep it very private to keep up the perfect family image they show to the world. I was shocked to learn they've been together for so long.”
Adding much to the fuel of their ‘open marriage’, was a law firm intern who alleged that the couple might be heading towards divorce after a vicious spat concerning the furniture line that was released by Ayesha in October 2021.
Ayesha and Stephen met at a church in North Carolina when they were teenagers and have shared that they both were fond of each other at a young age but it wasn’t until years later that they reconnected and gave the romance a shot. Stephen spoke to Parents Magazine previously and said, “I always had my eye on her, but I got a little shaken, for sure.” The couple tied the knot in 2011 and said, “I was 23; she was 22. But I knew I had found the right woman and I wanted to start a life with her.”
The Canadian-American actress, cookbook author, television personality decided to take a step back from her acting career when she found out that she was pregnant with their daughter Riley. She explained, “She was a borderline honeymoon baby. So that became my next move. I struggled with that for a while.” While Stephen’s NBA career took off, Ayesha found her calling in the culinary world and started investing time into writing cookbooks, opening restaurants, and even hosting game shows. Stephen would always find his lady love in the crowd cheering him and he did the same for her.
In 2019, Ayesha on appearing at Red Table Talk shared that she has often felt insecure about the attention that Stephen receives from the women and she received backlash for her comments. Stephen took to her social media to clarify the comments his wife made and said, “Proud of you for being authentic and putting yourself out there — not being afraid of potential bull s#*# and nonsense that could and did come at you. Way more positive than negative with all of this. Keep being you. I love you.” They celebrated their eighth wedding anniversary in 2019 and Ayesha wrote, “Each day with you is the ultimate blessing. Getting to do life with you is an infinite sea of bliss. Through our ups and downs we only become stronger and that is the ultimate key.”
In 2020, when the couple celebrated their ninth anniversary, Stephen wrote on his social media, "Hey @ayeshacurry. Nine years in. And what they say? Forever to go! I love you. Thank you for always making me better, for pushing me, for keeping it real with me, for bringing light and energy to every room you walk in, for showing our kids what it means to be passionate and caring and loving, for always being my eyes and ears, Traveling with me on every high and every low, and most importantly … for always being unapologetically you!”
Ayesha wrote, “9 years married y’all!!!! I love this man with my whole heart and soul. How is it possible that I love you more and more each and every freaking day?! And 3 babies?! Lawwwwd. Ahhh choochie!!! I have no words … cue ‘sweetest taboo.” In August 2021, Ayesha during an appearance on Shop Today with Jill Martin said, “He's very patient. Can't multitask for anything but is so patient in knowing that and so good with the kids. It's such a turn-on to see. Probably so inappropriate, but it is. It's refreshing to see that."
It was reported that in September 2021, the NBA star Stephen surprised his wife with a beautiful vow renewal ceremony and Ayesha shared pictures and wrote, "He even picked out my dress for me and had it waiting. Our big girl Riley officiated, and Ryan and Canon walked me through the grass of our backyard. It’s everything I’ve always dreamed of but didn’t know could be possible in this way. A moment I will never forget."
