Catherine O’Hara shares her thoughts on embracing and respecting age.

Catherine O’Hara who was seen on Schitt’s Creek as Moira Rose, recently spoke to Entertainment Tonight Canada and shared that she has had no work done on her face and has no plans to get anything done in the future.

The actress mentioned that she does not mind aging and feels very blessed that she is alive and went ahead to thank Dan Levy and Eugene Levy for allowing her to play Moira Rose on-screen and that she was able to stay in her career. Catherine O’Hara is set to appear at the 2022 International Women’s Day Women + Wealth Gala at the Edmonton Convention Centre and will be available virtually. The actress mentioned during the interview with Entertainment Tonight Canada, that she does not promote getting things done on her face.

Catherine said that she is a freak in that sense because she has never had anything done on her face and does not plan to get any done in the future other than acupuncture needles. She said that people should be okay and embrace the aging process, respecting it and loving it.

When Catherine O’Hara was asked if she’d reprise her role as Moira Rose in the Schitt’s Creek movie, she said that she was aware that some conversations were going around, but Daniel (Dan Levy) has always said that it has to be the right idea to move forward with the movie and added that he’s right. She said that it has to be worth doing and not just be a part of the project to take advantage of it or just because the audience wants them to do it.

Catherine said that while filming Schitt’s Creek they had had the loveliest, kindest audience who appreciated them and loved them, and they do not want to let them down, adding that she hopes that they could do the movie someday. The actress said that she had so much fun playing the characters and playing the Rose family before adding that it was simply a joyful experience and she faced some struggles in letting go of her character. Catherine O’Hara said that Moira Rose is so much more interesting than she is.

Speaking of the 2022 International Women’s Day Women + Wealth Gala, Catherine O’Hara is going to appear virtually and the event, which was initially supposed to take place in March but was postponed due to COVID-19, is not-for-profit and proceeds support the Canadian Women’s Foundation. Catherine is going to discuss the issue of gender pay discrepancy, which the actress often faced in the early days of her career as a comedian.

The actress said that she started working in the early 70s and there were a lot of men who were good but were raised in the pre- women's Liberation world. She added that the pay between men and women back in the day was different, but she was glad that she was working with funny people, so they joked about it.

Catherine O’Hara is going to star in the upcoming spy-thriller alongside Dua Lipa titled, "Argylle". Talking about the same, she said that although they do not have any scenes together, she has heard that Dua was so much fun, very professional, and just gave her best to the project. The actress added that the singer did some physical work, some stunts, and dancing, and on the day Catherine met her, Dua Lipa seemed beautiful, she said.
