While performing his set on Friday night at the Rolling Loud Festival at the Hard Rock Stadium in Miami, Kid Cudi had to storm off the stage after he was hit with a water bottle in the middle of his performance. Kid Cudi, however, stopped in the middle of his performance to warn the crowd to stop throwing bottles on the stage.

In a video that was recorded, a bottle can be seen being hurled in Kid Cudi's direction, prompting him to leave the stage after warning the audience that he would leave if another bottle was thrown at him. While some audience members booed Kid Cudi as he departed the stage and continued to toss bottles, others continued to scream Kanye West's name. Some fans were quick to point out the behavior of the people who were at the festival and mentioned on their social media that Kid Cudi did not deserve this.

"Kid Cudi hatred is so unwarranted and petty. He doesn't deserve this at all," one person said and added that sans of Kanye must stop treating Cudi badly. Another person expressed their disappointment at the manner an artist was jeered while performing live while someone said that it makes them laugh especially after the way Kanye West's fans disrespected Kid Cudi because it shows how much less they know about Kanye's music.

However, shortly after, Lil Durk entered the stage and welcomed a special guest to sing along with him. The guest in question turned out to be none other than Kanye 'Ye' West, who accompanied Lil Durk on Cardi B's Hot Shit while donning all-black clothing and black sunglasses. Fans noted that Kanye West's later performance of "Father Stretch My Hand Pt.1," which also included vocals from Kid Cudi, was an obvious jab at the rapper who had been jeered on stage.

At the give moment it is very hard to say or know why people present at the festival tossed bottles at Kid Cudi or even why Kanye West chose to show out on stage at the last minute after pulling out of the event only a week prior. The decision by Kanye West was notable since it is well known that the two rappers, Kanye and Kid Cudi, had had a public falling out and Kid Cudi had been picked up to fill in as the headliner for the festival after Ye pulled his performance out of the festival.

Kanye West recently criticized Kid Cudi on social media for getting along with Pete Davidson, a Saturday Night Live comedian who is now dating Kanye's ex-wife Kim Kardashian. Kid Cudi said that he would never collaborate with Kanye West again, added that he is not a buddy, and labeled Kanye a dinosaur after Kanye West revealed that Kid Cudi will not be a part of his Donda 2 album. Since they first met, Kid Cudi said that he has been the finest part of his record and added that he will pray for him.

Kid Cudi was chosen as the headliner at the Rolling Loud Festival after Grammy-winning singer Kanye West decided to back out for reasons unknown. The co-founders of Rolling Loud, Tariq Cherif, and Matt Zingler released a statement to announce that Ye had decided that he would no longer be performing at the festival, before adding that they had worked with Kanye West for months on his festival appearance. The co-founders added that this is the first time a headliner has pulled off their show, and though they don’t take this lightly, they wished him the best for his future.

Day 1 of the Rolling Loud Festival in Miami also saw Saweetie take the stage and perform her hit tracks, including ‘My Type’ and ‘Best Friend’, along with teasing a new song that she said is going to be out soon. With their sets, Playboi Carti and A$AP Ferg also wowed the crowd.
