80th annual Golden Globe Awards nominees announced; Jerrod Carmichael to serve as the host

The 80th annual Golden Globe Awards will be held on January 10, 2023, at The Beverly Hilton in Beverly Hills, California, and will be broadcast live on NBC and Peacock in the United States.

Jerrod Carmichael, a comedian, and Emmy winner will host the ceremony, which will recognize the best in film and American television in 2022 as selected by the Hollywood Foreign Press Association. Mayan Lopez and Selenis Leyva introduced the nominations live on NBC. The Golden Globes also announced the very first nominations for the awards' four new television supporting acting categories.
