Harry Styles and Florence Pugh have quite the chemistry as revealed by the trailer of Olivia Wilder's directorial feature Don't Worry Darling.

Olivia Wilde managed to capture the 1950s with her latest production. The film's sneak peek was premiered for an audience at the CinemaCon fest this past week and it is safe to say that the 50s looked pretty hot. The film by Wilde stars Harry Styles and Florence Pugh as the lead in the psychological thriller film, which is Don't Worry Darling.

CinemaCon is a movie festival held annually which allows filmmakers to present their ideas to a collective audience of movie theater owners. The audience this year got an early peek into the tale of Don't Worry Darling. The trailer has not been made public yet.

The trailer footage previewed at the CinemaCon began by showing the leads, Styles, and Pughs snuggling in bed. Their character is a married couple who live in a positive state of bliss in a beautiful but experimental community based somewhere in the California desert.

The elite community enjoys great scenery with palm tree-lined roads and a great collection of fancy cars.

The couple is exploring their marital bliss as Pugh's character asks her husband if they will always be "you and me," with Styles' character affirming that yes, it will always be them, together.

Pughs is a doting and loving wife but as they continue into wedded bliss, she starts spiraling into paranoia and imagining that her husband's company might be hiding some dark secrets.

Harry Styles's character is working on a Victory Project. The project is promised to change the world.

The paranoid wife asks her husband if he even knows what the Victory project is and if he even asked the question ever. Her relentless obsession with the company secrets earns her odd looks and people start thinking that she is going crazy.

But as things keep on getting out of hand, the wife is left in tears and a mournful conclusion. She no longer trusts her husband and she wants to leave him.

The film teaser shows a variety of scenes from frustrated Styles letting out his chaos by screaming in his car's interior while making out passionately with his wife on a dining room table in the next scene. Though their trust might have shattered, they still do have the hots for each other.

The trailer features a good collection of intimate scenes between the two characters, as they make out against a sink in one scene, with Chris Pine's character also being in the room. Styles are incredibly charismatic and hot in the entire sequence of the scenes that made up the ComicCon trailer of the film.

The director of the film, Olivia Wilde presented the film to the audience on the stage at Caesars Palace, the CinemaCon venue this year, and shared the inspiration behind the film. Apparently, Don't Worry Darling draws influence from Inception, The Matrix, and The Truman Show.

She lovingly named her film a "love letter" to films like the one mentioned above that breaks out from the box and presents ideas never conceived before.

Giving an insight into what the film is trying to portray, the actress and director asked her audience to imagine a life that hosts everything that they have ever wanted. She asked them to think beyond material possessions like cars, a nice house, or beautiful weather and so on, and asked them to think about the deep things that mattered to them.

It could be anything from having a relationship based on true love, a good partner, great friends, and more things that add meaning to life. And yet, is there anything even larger than you would take to give up on this life of perfect possession.

Or, would you ever sacrifice things to come to this life of your perfect imagination or stay on the path of righteousness. Her final question asked if you would break out of the circle of society and embark on something that could totally wreck the world as we see it today.

Most interestingly, while Olivia Wilde asked these questions from the stage of Cinemacon Fest, she was disturbed and handed a manila folder. The actress thought that it might be the script for a new film, but apparently, the director was served custody papers from her former husband Jason Sudeikis, by an unidentified woman who bypassed security. The Ted Lasso actor had no idea that she would be served on stage.

Olivia Wilde did not acknowledge the contents of the folder on stage, though she did open and look at them, and continued with her presentation. The director shared her extreme awe in the lead actors of the show, Pughs, and Harry Styles. Notable Styles is Olivia Wilde's partner for more than a year now.

Don't Worry darling stars KiKi Layne, Robert Pine, Gemma Chan and Nick Kroll apart from Styles and Pugh. The screenplay is written by Katie Silberman and the script is done by Carey and Shane Van Dyke.
