Get ready to vibe to Beyonce this awards season at the Oscars!

The Single Ladies singer has been confirmed for a musical performance at the Sunday Academy Awards event. Other talented artists will be joining the lady on the stage. Beyonce will hence be bringing an original-song nominee's talent to the awards show.

The performance details reveal that Beyonce will sing Be Alive from King Richard, from the Will Smith King movie. The song choice for Queen Bey's performance was revealed by the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences as of a Tuesday announcement about the live performance.

Other artists set to make headlines on the Awards show will be Billie Eilish and her brother Finneas, Reba McEntire, and Sebastian Yatra. The artists will perform three of the four nominated songs for the Oscars.

However, Van Morrison, the final nominee, will not perform live for the audience at Hollywood's Dolby Theater.

Eilish and Finneas, her brother, are scheduled to perform the titular song of the James Bond movie, No Time to Die. They had co-written the song together. Yatra will be performing the famous Encanto number Dos Oruguitas by Lin-Manuel Miranda.

McEntire will tune in to sing Somehow You Do, by Dianna Warren. The song is from the film Four Good Days.

However, it is reported that Beyonce will kick start the awards show with her performance from the tennis courts in Compton. The song will hence resonate with the original setting of the song.

King Richard is a film based on the journey of Venus and Serena Williams, who trained in Compton and ascended to stardom in the tennis world. They were taught the art by their father, Richard Williams. The song Be Alive shares a writing collaboration of Beyonce and Dixson, and they had worked together on the soundtrack.

Dixson is positive that Beyonce will do an amazing job as she sings the song. He was happy for her as she grabbed her Oscars nomination in February and yet he wished to draw attention to her excellent songwriting producing capabilities.

He said her varied talents are not talked about very often and need to be acknowledged. Dixson also shared that Beyonce is one of his favorite songwriters and working with her on the song only solidified the fact for him.

Unfortunately, Morrison, who is said to be scheduled for performing his song Down to Joy from the film Belfast, is not yet confirmed for his performing time on the Sunday event. There seems to be a scheduling clash for the songwriter, making it difficult to perform at the awards show.

It was revealed earlier that the organizers of the Oscars tried their best to recruit Beyonce for her performance at the show. The song is now to be broadcast live by satellite.

Beyonce herself is mostly very secretive about her performances and requires the most binding NDAs from people when in collaborations with her. The performance will be a great ode to the brilliance of Venus and Serena Williams along with celebrating their native hometown.

The choice of the location is a well-thought move from the Oscar nominee singer.

Academy Awards have always been keen to shower their appreciation of Beyonce as an artist and performer. In fact, she also had an acting breakout for her film Dreamgirls back in 2006.

Back in 2005, Beyonce had led the performances on stage, singing several songs for the category of the best song. Her performances, including Learn to be Lonely from The Phantom of the Opera, a feature remake, was broadcast live from the awards show.

She has also performed along with other artists on stage. Back in 2007, she shared the limelight with Jennifer Hudson and Anika Noni Rose as they sang a song from Dreamgirls.

She once again allowed Hugh Jackman to share her onstage glory in 2009. They together performed movie musicals at the Oscars.
