Belcalis Marlenis Almánzar or popularly called Cardi B is an American rapper and songwriter who gained fame after she achieved popularity on Vine and Instagram. She has recently opened up about her marriage with Migos' rapper Offset and mentioned that ‘she’s never been happier.

Cardi B recently spoke to the hosts of E! Daily Pop and mentioned that she and her husband Offset are in a good space right now. The couple has worked through some of the hardest issues in their marriage, but now she has mentioned that they are so much stronger and happier currently.

The 29-year-old rapper said, "We went through some challenges. You have to learn [about] each other better. I feel like I've never been happier. I feel like, not even with just with marriage, but our family and unity, the friendship that we have. The 'I have your back, you have my back.' It's never been stronger." During her interview on Good Morning America, Cardi B said that her husband is a very hands-on father, and sometimes he just gets too hands-on. "I be like, 'Listen, I got it. I know what I'm doing, too. This ain't my first rodeo anymore," she joked.

Talking about filing the divorce last year, the American rapper shared, "If I want to go to an extreme to teach a n— a f—ing lesson and f—ing file for divorce, I could do that. It's my life. I'm not getting no f—ing abuse." Cardi B further added during the interview, "If we work things out, we sit down and work things out, and I tell an n— what I don't like and what I want to change when he tells me what he wants me to change what he wants me to stop doing."

The couple met at an industry event in 2016 and according to Cardi B, Offset was very consistent and wanted to talk to her. The American rapper and songwriter shared that Migos' rapper, Offset’s first impression of her was simply that he wanted to pursue a sexual relationship with her. The two later collaborated in 2017 on a song, ‘Lick’, and the rumors of the two being involved romantically started to steam up.

Speaking to Fader in 2017, Cardi B shared about Offset, "It’s been a blessing, me meeting him and meeting his friends. I see how hard they work. And that motivated me to work even harder. And I see how good things are going for them and how popping it is to be number one. And I’m like, I want that. A lot of people just see the jewelry and the money, but I don’t think a lot of people see how hard they work for that shit every single day."

Offset proposed Cardi B during a concert in Philadelphia, and the rapper said yes. In 2018, Offset became embroiled in a cheating scandal in which he was accused of not only sleeping with another woman but also making a sex tape with her. In since-deleted tweets, Cardi B acknowledged the rumors, seeming to confirm their veracity but asking fans to respect her privacy and right to navigate her own life.

According to E!, Cardi B wrote, "I'm going to make a decision in my own times with my heart and mind. I don't need to be rushed or be told what to do. It's my life! I belong to me, not to the world." Cardi B decided to stay with Offset and later in April 2018 she confirmed that she was pregnant. In June 2018, it was revealed that the couple got married in September 2017 and Cardi B said, "There are so many moments that I share with the world and then there are moments that I want to keep for myself! Getting married was one of those moments! Our relationship was so new, breaking up and making up, and we had a lot of growing up to do, but we were so in love we didn't want to lose each other."

The couple’s daughter, ‘Kulture Kiari Cephus’ was born on 10th July 2018 and in October she opened up about how the infidelity rumors affected her. Speaking to W Magazine, the songwriter shared, "Every single day, there are rumors about me and my dude. And it almost drives me crazy, because I start to believe them. I don’t have any proof. I don’t have receipts. But I just got to know my man. We practically on the phone 24 hours a day. If I can’t find him, I’m going to find his friend. Somebody going to answer the phone. But I cannot be feeling insecure, to a point that I would drive my dude away, because these people want that to happen."

In December 2018, Cardi B announced that the pair have decided to split, but they have immense love and respect for each other via video, and Offset commented on the video, ‘You all won.’ The same month, Offset tweeted that he misses Cardi B and begged her to forgive him and mentioned, "I know I embarrassed you. I was partaking in activity I shouldn’t have been taking in". As Cardi B performed at the Rolling Loud Festival in December 2018, Offset interrupted her onstage with a large display of roses that read, "Take me back, Cardi". In September 2020, Cardi B filed for divorce from Offset in Fulton County, Georgia and according to documents, she sought primary physical custody and legal custody of their daughter Kulture. She said that their marriage was "irretrievably broken" and "there are no prospects for a reconciliation," reportedly after finding out the rapper had been unfaithful yet again and said on OnlyFans, "I didn't wait [for] another controversy with him being involved. I decided to leave. If I wanted to stay, I could have stayed. I decided to leave."

But just a month later, a source reported that the couple is back together and Cardi B told Entertainment Tonight, "It's hard not to talk to your best friend. You know what I'm saying? It's really hard not to talk to your best friend. [We're just] two young motherf**krs that got married early. That's just what we are. We're no different from you all's dysfunctional ass relationships." In November 2020, their divorce case was dismissed and in June 2021, the couple announced that they are expecting a second child together whose name has not yet been revealed.

Migos rapper, Offset is also father to daughter Kalea and sons Kody and Jordan from his previous relationships.
