Rihanna is going to be a mom again.

The Oscar-nominated singer, Rihanna, took the stage for an epic performance during the Apple Music Super Bowl halftime show on Sunday at State Farm Stadium in Glendale, Arizona, rocking an all-red outfit. Rihanna revealed her baby bump in the opening moments of her performance, confirming that she is pregnant with her second child and becoming the first pregnant woman to star in the halftime show.

Rihanna and her partner, rapper A$AP Rocky, welcomed their first child in May 2022, and according to sources, the couple is overjoyed with her performance, and Rihanna knows it was a performance to remember, which is exactly the outcome she was aiming for. The source continued by stating that she acknowledges how the performance enabled her to share exciting news concerning herself and her family.

According to a source close to the singer, Rihanna wanted to convey a message of empowerment and show women are able to balance it all and achieve their goals. She did this by waiting until she eagerly anticipated Super Bowl Halftime performance to announce her pregnancy, adding that she feels so comfortable knowing and grateful at this moment.

According to the source, Rihanna is overjoyed with how her halftime performance went, even though there were modifications and minor changes until the very end, but she is overjoyed with her selections and the result. After her performance, the singer confirmed her pregnancy, and a source said she is the happiest she has ever been because she got to spend with her family and worked on her performance. She even enlisted the help of her family, with A$AP Rocky and their son, who was born in May, reportedly able to attend her rehearsals.

The singer began her performance with "B***h Better Have My Money" before switching to "Where Have You Been" during a dance break. "Only Girl (in the World)," "We Found Love," and "S&M" were some of the songs Rihanna performed. She began the 2nd half of the show with "Work," followed by "Wild Thoughts" and "Pour It Up." Before performing "All of the Lights," the mogul did check her makeup in a Fenty Beauty compact, attempting to kick off the third act of the maximum performance, which also included "Run This Town" and "Umbrella." Rihanna hovered above the packed State Farm Stadium to perform "Diamonds," which was followed by a spectacular firework show.

ET caught up with Rihanna after her halftime show press briefing ahead of Sunday's big game, and she dished about her already massive 2023. She stated that she feels as if a lot is happening all at once, mentioning her motherhood, the Oscars, and the Super Bowl and that she is still clenching herself but is grateful for just about everything.

Rihanna revealed at a press conference held on Thursday ahead of her Apple Music Super Bowl Halftime Show that balancing her work and life has changed since becoming a mother, adding that it's very different, she told Apple Music's Nadeska. Rihanna added that the balance is practically impossible because, no no matter how they look at it, work will always rob working moms of time with the child stating that it is the medium of exchange now, and that is where it will remain. The singer further said that the extent to which it weighs in when one chooses what they're going to say yes to has to be worth it. Rihanna added that her decision to perform at the Super Bowl LVII Halftime Show on Sunday is "for sure" worth it to her.

The "Umbrella" singer also discussed how becoming a first-time mother gave her the self-assurance to take on a massive performance like the Super Bowl halftime show. She stated that there's a thing that happens when a woman becomes a mother that makes one feel like they can take on the world, they are capable of anything, and the Super Bowl is one of the world's grandest stages. RiRi said that as frightening as that was, there is something exhilarating about just the challenge of it all, and it's crucial for her to do this year but mentioned that it was necessary for the representation that is something that her son should see. She elaborated that representation of immigrants, her country Barbados, Black women out there is something very important to her which is one of the key reasons why she said yes to the show.

Rihanna recently told Apple Music that she had second thoughts about accepting the offer, saying that she had a lot of questions on her mind like was sure about that because she has been in three months postpartum, should she be making such important decisions right now? She said that at one point she thought that she may come to regret this but gladly she does not regret it. Rihanna lastly mentioned that of course, the physical challenge has been enormous for a variety of reasons as it is something she hasn't done in a long time noting that she is just running around for 13 minutes, trying to fit in a two-hour set. The singer concluded that from the moment it begins, it never stops until the very last second It's a packed show, and it takes a toll on one's body.
