Morgan Evans speaks out on Kelsea Ballerini’s comments about their separation.
On Tuesday, Morgan Evans addressed his ex-wife Kelsea Ballerini’s upcoming podcast interview with Alex Cooper on "Call Her Daddy," in which she is expected to reveal new details about their divorce.
Morgan Evans took to social media to express his sadness at seeing this person (Kelsea Ballerini), with whom he spent a great deal of his life and who he loved with all his heart, make statements that are not true and decide to leave out what had occurred.
He went on to explain that he understands he wouldn't be the type of guy to talk about such things publicly, however, if this is what she needs to do to heal, he hopes it helps, and all he requests is that people not be mean on his pages. Morgan prompted his followers and admirers to be kind to his ex-wife, Kelsea Ballerini and stated that life is too short to be mean to anyone.
Morgan Evans said earlier this month on The Bobby Bones Show that the single reason one can control is able to make choices, how one feels, and what one does with their life, and that he is appreciative to be surrounded by good people who remind him of this and maintain him rooted in a way that he continues to be grateful for.
Morgan Evans released the song "Over for You," which he asserts assisted him to convey his emotions. He also asserted that after wanting to share the song, people can relate to the degree of vulnerability and personal writing the most. He continued by mentioning that the number of comments and messages that he has did receive on social media has been overwhelming and that individuals who have been through a similar predicament to him have seen that his song helps other individuals who are facing comparable circumstances is a huge deal for him.
He said that he felt really good to do that and just be truthful and not attempt to cover things up after his first rendition of the tune. Although Kelsea Ballerini had reservations about the song in which Morgan wants to express surprise at the decision to terminate their marriage.
Kelsea and Morgan announced their divorce in August after five years of marriage. She explained at the time that it is a deeply difficult decision and is the result of a journey of love, growth, and effort and she is grateful for the years she has spent with Morgan and excited for the next few seasons. Morgan Evans also issued a statement on Instagram, writing, that he is very sorry to inform everyone that Kelsea and he are divorcing after nearly five years of marriage adding that he wishes it was different, but it isn't.
Morgan Evans' post on social media for Kelsea Ballerini comes ahead of her discussion with Alex Cooper, during which it has been reported that she discussed her split in-depth, and a clip was released showing Kelsea communicating that her relationship with Morgan Evans was difficult for a long time, uncovering that she had spent the night sleeping on the couch.
Kelsea told Alex Cooper about her separations and years of relationship counseling. She admitted that she slept on the couch a lot of nights and she doesn't think that was her first night, but it was a night when she thought to herself that it was not something that she want. Kelsea said she slept on the couch the night before the CMAs and attended a rehearsal at the arena and texted him and being like that she will just see him on the carpet.
Kelsea Ballerini decided to release a terribly sad EP earlier this month, in addition to a short film titled "Rolling Up the Welcome Mat," in which she documented the downfall of her marital relationship with Morgan Evans. A source at the time of their separation shared with People that the former couple had been working on fixing their marriage for a very long time but nothing seemed to have worked out adding even being in therapy for years did not work for them. The source mentioned that the pair decided to separate in private before they announced it publicly. The source added that Kelsea and Morgan gave it their all, but the difficult decision to divorce had to be made.They finalized their divorce in November last year.
Morgan Evans is currently on tour in Europe in support of his latest release, The Country and the Coast: Side A.
