Sharon Stone got candid about her miscarriages after Peta Murgatroyd opened up about hers.

Sharon Stone recently opened up about her miscarriages and said that she has suffered nine miscarriages after Peta Murgatroyd opened up about losing her pregnancy while her husband Maksim Chmerkovskiy was in Ukraine and previous ones too.

Sharon wrote in the comment section of People’s post that featured Peta Murgatroyd who also opened up about her miscarriages and Sharon said that we, as women, lack a platform to express the gravity of the miscarriage and subsequently disclosed that she had lost nine babies. Physically or emotionally, it's not a tiny issue, but the women are made to feel as though they must deal with it alone and in secret with a sense of failure, Sharon continued.

The comment from Sharon Stone went on to say that female health and wellbeing are left to take care of the masculine ideology, which has become, at best, lazy, uneducated, and brutally repressive in its attempt, and that instead, the women who grieve from the loss of their pregnancy deserve compassion, understanding, and healing.

Sharon Stone is now the mother of three sons via adoption; Quinn Stone, Laird Stone, and Roan Bronstein, whom she shares with her ex-husband Phil Bronstein. Before, the actress had been open about the challenges she had faced in conceiving due to having an autoimmune disease and endometriosis. In 2017, she revealed that she had a genetic blood condition that eventually led to three miscarriages and that the medical community should pay attention to it.

In her 2021 memoir, "The Beauty of Living Twice," Sharon Stone wrote that when she lost her last baby, she went through 36 hours of labor without giving birth and the medical staff nurses, to be precise, even stayed with her on their day off. She wrote that without the nurses, she would have been alone at that moment. She felt such a strong sense of sisterhood and understanding.

Talking about Peta Murgatroyd who just a few days ago revealed to the People magazine that she had miscarried three times and most recently was when her husband was in Ukraine. She also said she remembered laying in a hospital bed hours after her 5-year-old son Shai saw her being taken away in an ambulance. After testing positive for coronavirus days earlier, she sought assistance after finding herself immobile on her little son's bedroom floor.

Peta said that she did not have any strength and it got so bad that her breath was starting to be affected. Everything was really dramatic. She revealed that the doctor who checked her up asked her if she was aware that she was pregnant and later mentioned that she had lost the pregnancy while her husband was on speaker phone. She said that she had no idea that they were expecting but she started to bleed two days earlier to the day she was at the hospital to which she thought of it as period blood but the stuck her that maybe it was then when she lost the pregnancy.

Maksim Chmerkovskiy added that he felt “helpless” to not be by his wife’s side. Peta Murgatroyd explained that she previously had a miscarriage in fall 2020 while shopping at Whole Foods. Peta explained that she was sitting in the bathroom sobbing and was surprised nobody walked in because she was crying so heavily and wailing, one of those deep cries. She said that it was something that will probably live with her for the rest of her life, being on that toilet by myself, knowing what was happening, and not being able to stop it.

Maksim Chmerkovskiy referred to the miscarriage as the “darkest” point in their marriage, which began in 2017. The couple suffered another pregnancy loss nine months later. He said that he tries to do his best in supporting Peta and added that he is a changed man because of this experience He added that he thinks that if one can look around, one will find that most of your friends have had issues in trying to conceive and he has realized that this is more common and this is not being talked about
