The defamation trial between Johnny Depp and Amber Heard is about to get over, but before they present their closing statement to the jury, Amber Heard was called upon to stand once again and spoke about how this trial has upended her.

Amber Heard told the jury once again that she has suffered so much because of the statements Adam Waldman made against her, and she is being humiliated, threatened, and harassed every single day. She went on to say that even walking into the courtroom, sitting in front of the world, and having the worst parts of her life used to humiliate her is excruciatingly painful. Amber Heard testified that people want to kill her, put her baby in the microwave, and tell her this every day.

Amber Heard informed the jury that people were mocking her testimony, and she took a shot at Johnny Depp by pointing out that she isn't the one who is seen smiling, smirking, and making jokes around the courtroom. She went on to say that she isn't the one laughing and giggling because this is a dreadful, painful, and embarrassing circumstance for anyone to go through. Amber said that she does not deserve this, the attacks on her, the campaign that Johnny Depp has elicited millions of people to do against her on his behalf. She does not deserve that.

Amber Heard’s attorney asked her how the statements affected her and she said that the statements and threats have continued to manifest till today and there is a campaign against her on social media that echoes negativity against her and now there are cameras in the room and she has to live through the trauma once again. The actress explained that her hands shake, she wakes up in the morning screaming, and her friends have to live with a set of unspoken rules about how not to scare her, touch her, or surprise her, and added that intimate partners also have to follow rules.

Amber Heard added that she has rules for the medical professionals too, as she suffers from panic attacks or something that triggers her, she has to relive all of it. She mentioned that when she was training for Aquaman 2, she was triggered at one point and she had a meltdown, and she has to deal with it. She mentioned that she is high functioning because she has found a solution for the pain, which is to keep up the charitable work. She stated that she would not wish what she had gone through on her worst enemy.

At one point, the actress seemed to be breaking down and asking Johnny Depp to leave her alone. She added that she had said that for years and she thought he would leave, but he did not. Instead, according to Amber Heard, Johnny Depp took enough of her voice and stated that she has the right to tell her story. Amber mentioned that Johnny Depp took it long enough and she has a right as an American to talk about what happened to her, to own her story and her truth. Amber Heard added that she hopes to get her voice back and she has said that from day one.

During cross-examination, Camille Vasquez asked Amber Heard about the video of Johnny Depp slamming the kitchen cabinets, which was leaked to TMZ, and Morgan Tremaine testified in court about the same. Amber Heard said that she did not leak the video and added that if she wanted to leak things, she could have done it more effectively and a lot sooner. Camille Vasquez questioned the actress whether she mentioned earlier that she did not know how to leak things, and Amber Heard said yes. Camille also asked Amber if she did not expect Kate Moss to testify for Johnny Depp, and she did not reply to a question in yes or no but said that everybody who was around in the ’90s had heard that rumor and when she was in the same position, she instantly thought of it. Camille Vasquez further pushed the actress about the number of witnesses that showed up for Johnny Depp and mentioned that she did not expect so many people to show up. Amber Heard said that she did expect people to come out of woodwork and testify for Johnny Depp because that's his power.

Amber Heard was also accused of faking the bruises and providing the court with false evidence, and she said that she did not fake any bruises. Amber Heard, during her rebuttal testimony, referenced a text message that Johnny Depp had sent and said that he wanted her to suffer global humiliation after she filed for a TRO, and what everyone sees in the courtroom is an echo. She added that there have been campaigns against her to get her fired, blocked, and ruin her career, and there have been threats by Johnny Depp to humiliate her globally.

Amber Heard in conclusion of her testimony added that she is not surprised by the people or witnesses who would show up and say anything for Johnny Depp because that's his power and that is why she wrote the op-ed, she added that she was speaking to the phenomena on how people would come out in support of Johnny Depp and will fall to his power. Amber concluded that Johnny Depp is a powerful man and people love currying favor with powerful men.
