Recently, during a candid interview with the "In Good Faith with Chelsea and Judah Smith" podcast, Hailey and Justin Bieber shared their marital struggles. The couple has been open about their marriage and the struggles they have had to face until one year ago. During the podcast interview, Hailey Bieber opened up about the toll watching Justin struggle with his mental health had on her as his new wife.

Hailey and Justin shared that the two always had a conversation about their goals or where they wanted to end up at a certain age. "We always talked about wanting to be married and be young, and have a young family, and have kids young", they added.

The star couple got married in September 2018, and in February 2019, reports suggested that pop-star Justin Bieber was seeking treatment for depression. Hailey Bieber spoke about the moments she nearly broke down under the weight of watching Justin Bieber struggle. She said, "I remember I called [my mom, Kennya Baldwin] a few different times, one particular time [when] we were in Brooklyn, and I was calling her, I was crying, and I was like, ‘I just can’t do it. There’s no way that I’m going to be able to do this if it’s going to be like this forever. And I just remember she was so calm on the phone, and she was like, ‘It’s going to pass, and you’re going to be fine, and he’s going to be healthy, and we’re here for you.’ And I do feel like we had a lot of support. I feel like if I didn’t have support, it would’ve been 10 times harder, and it was already the hardest thing in my life at the time, so I also just think I was in it. I made a decision. Furthermore, I know for a fact that I’ve loved this person for a very long time, and now would not be the time to give up on him. In addition, I just wouldn’t do that to him."

Hailey Bieber, who is smitten by Justin Bieber, shared that she is not the kind of person who would abandon someone, especially during their most difficult phase of life. This belief was the one thing that helped Hailey to keep going, and she said that she decided to support and be there for Justin Bieber no matter what the circumstances were. She described the situation as "hard" and mentioned that there were days when she thought that if he was going to get through it. "I just didn’t know how long it was going to take. That’s what I think was the hardest thing. There are no guarantees, "she added.

Justin Bieber said that he was having these out-of-body experiences where he would say things like ‘I just feel my hands in a weird way’ and Hailey added, ‘very weird sensory stuff’. The singer credited the time as helping the couple bond and become truly unconditional partners. He said, "I think it was just time that healed things, just us showing up for each other every day, being consistent, me seeing that she wasn’t going anywhere. I think I had a lot of, like, rejection issues that I had to just fight through, but just her just continuously showing up every day and being there for me. And I just kept seeing that over and over and over. And I just became more secure, and more secure with where we were at in our relationship."

Hailey Bieber added that neither of the two was going to quit on each other or walk away from each other because of the difficult situation because she explained that the two chose to fight for this so, the couple decided to fight past whatever they needed to. Justin Bieber added to the conversation that he feels lucky that Hailey accepted him as he was. "Even when we got married, there was still a lot of damage and hurt that I still needed to work through, but you've seen my heart through it all," he added.

Justin Bieber mentioned that he needed some serious healing, and he needed to go through it to get to a place where he could feel and be healthy, in a serious relationship that was good for him. He was keen on working on those struggles because he accepted the fact that he had a lot of trauma and scars. The singer’s acknowledgment of his mental health led him to call off his "Purpose" world tour in the middle.

It is a known fact that the couple got back together in 2018, got engaged in July, and got married in September. But the couple briefly dated and broke up in 2016 but rekindled their romance in 2018, leading to a beautiful wedding.

Hailey Bieber shared, "We’d have conversations when we were younger, [and] we always knew if we ever do get back together, it will be to get married. We used to say that to each other and talk about that. I don’t think it was that surprising for us. I don’t know if I ever thought it would be that soon. Likewise, I didn’t think I’d be getting married at 21. Likewise, I always used to think in my head, ‘Oh, if Justin and I ever get back together, we’ll be a little older, and it’ll be later in life,’ and God was like, ‘Yeah, that’s hilarious because here’s you at 21".

The 24-year-old model also got candid about the rough patch the couple had to face and were not on talking terms. Clarifying the situation, Hailey Bieber said, "It was actually very sad when we didn't speak. I did something that really hurt him, and I think that kind of maybe took that idea (of marrying me) out of his mind at that point. There was really one solidified moment where I think it damaged the idea of me for you."

To which Justin Bieber added that even though the couple were not on talking terms, and not cool with each other, Hailey never lost hope of marrying him one day because Justin genuinely desired to have a family. "I just don't think that (desire) is B.S., because he doesn't have to say that. That doesn't have to be what he wants. But the biggest thing in his heart that he always wanted was that", the model added.

Hailey Bieber addressed accusations that her spouse is "not good to her" and "mistreats" her during an interview on "4D with Demi Lovato" in September, calling the charges "big, fat" falsehoods. "There are so many storylines floating around about me, about him, about us together," Hailey Bieber said to show presenter, Demi Lovato. "It's a vast cry from the reality, and it's the polar opposite."

Chelsea and Judah Smith are thankful for the chance to interact with others through their news podcast. OBB Sound, SB Projects, and Cadence13 collaborated on the show. "One of the most crucial aspects of life is connection! We can't wait to connect over life's joys and sorrows, and we're thrilled to be working with OBB, SB Projects, and Cadence13!"
