Meghan Markle, Duchess of Sussex, recently appeared on the latest episode of The Ellen DeGeneres Show that will go on air on November 18th, 2021. The former actress's appearance on The Ellen DeGeneres Show is going to be her first daytime talk show appearance in about a decade.

The Ellentube.com website described the Duchess as, "The activist and co-founder of Archewell will chat with Ellen about growing up and returning to California, as well as her New York Times bestselling children’s book, The Bench." Meghan Markle’s interview comes eight months after her interview with Oprah Winfrey.

In the trailer released for the Ellen DeGeneres Show, the Duchess of Sussex, Meghan Markle, chats about how she used to drive to the Warner Brothers studio in Burbank, California, for auditions and mentions that it was very different back then. She also added that she would drive in her very old Ford Explorer Sport, whose key stopped working in the driver’s side door. She recalled her time and said, "Oh, my gosh, completely. I would park at Gate 3, and then I would scoot on over. And what was so nice was that the security guards here would always say, Break a leg! We hope you get it! ' So driving in today was very different. "

Meghan Markle added, "I would open the trunk and climb in and then pull it shut behind me and crawl over all my seats to get out. That’s how I would come to and fro." When Ellen asked her if anybody saw Meghan, she replied, "No, I would play it off. I’d go like, Oh, I’m just looking for my resume and my highlighters or my script."

Ellen DeGeneres took to her social media to share a clip from the interview with a caption, "A lot has changed since the last time Meghan, the Duchess of Sussex, was on the Warner Brothers lot. Don’t miss the rest of our interview tomorrow". The host has called the Duchess and Duke of Sussex "the cutest couple, so down to earth". Ellen has previously defended the former royal couple when they faced criticism after taking a series of private jets. She had mentioned, "I mean, I can’t tell you how sweet they are. But the most important thing is that I got to hold Archie. I fed Archie. I held Archie", after she met their son, Archie.

Meghan Markle and Ellen DeGeneres became friends years ago after the two met at a dog shelter, where the latter reportedly encouraged Meghan Markle to adopt her dog, Bogart. Meghan Markle shared their first encounter in 2017 with Best Health "Ellen goes, 'Is that your dog?' And I said, "No," and she was like, "You have to take that dog." And I said, "Well, I'm deciding." And she's like, "Rescue the dog! It's sort of like when Oprah tells you to do something. I'm sitting there holding him, and she's like, "Have you thought of a name for him yet?" And I said, 'Well, I think I'd name him Bogart,' and she was like, "You're taking the dog home."

During the interview with Ellen, Meghan revealed that her daughter Lili, who was born on June 4th, is now teething. Ellen DeGeneres is Meghan and Prince Harry’s neighbor in Montecito and the former actress on asking about her life shared that they are in a great space and happy right now. The couple had initially opened up about their life in California during their sit-down with Oprah Winfrey, which aired in March. Prince Harry said, "To have outdoor space where I can go for walks with Archie, and we go for walks as a family and with the dogs. You know, we go on hikes or go down to the beach, which is so close. The highlight for me is sticking him on the back of the bicycle in his baby seat and taking him on bike rides, something I was never able to do when I was young. I can see him on the back, and he's got his arms out, chatting: "Palm tree? House?"

Meghan Markle donned a cream shirt with voluminous sleeves and cutouts to the Ellen Show, which she teamed with black slacks and matching pumps. Daniel Martin, a long-time friend, and cosmetics artist assisted the Duchess of Sussex in getting ready, as did Jason Law, who did her hair. Daniel Martin shared with PEOPLE, "We were backstage the entire time. It's really fun and Ellen really pulled out Meghan's goofy, funny side, which everyone will be able to finally see".
