Meredith Marks talks about Jen Shah.

Real Housewives of Salt Lake City star Meredith Marks recently shared her views on Jen Shah accepting the guilty plea in the wire fraud case against her.

During her appearance on the No Filter with Zack Peter podcast, Meredith Marks shared that she was surprised just like everyone else when Jen Shah accepted the guilty plea and added that no one was expecting that to happen. Meredith stated that she had texted Jen Shah but had not had a full conversation with her because she had been out of the country and was now focusing on getting her eldest son settled in a medical school, so in a nutshell, she had not spoken to Jen Shah.

During the conversation, Meredith Marks defended her bonding with Jen Shah and said that she had a picture of her, Jen Shah, and Heather Gay on her social media surfaced just a few days before she accepted the guilty plea. Meredith said that there were a lot of vicious comments from people who called Jen Shah a criminal and other things. She added that it could be the case right now, but when someone has not accepted the guilty plea and there has been no trial to prove it, then it is not up to her or the people on social media to determine whether a person is a criminal or not.

It was reported that the channel Bravo intends to keep the camera rolling on Jen Shah, which Meredith Marks said shocked her and explained that whether an individual is guilty or not, it is so easy to say something that could be spun to incriminate them and added that she thinks that it’s scary and gutsy for her to stay on. The decision to keep the cameras rolling for Jen Shah is because of the channel said that they would like to tell her story as well.

Andy Cohen, the executive producer of Housewives, previously expressed his displeasure with Jen Shah's guilty plea. He said that he is upset, and especially upset for the victims who were caught up in such a terrible scenario, on the July 13 episode of his Sirius XM show, Radio Andy.
