Netflix announced a one-hour comedy special set to air called "Jonas Brothers Family Roast" with Emmy Award-winning actor and comedian Kenan Thompson as the host. The special set is going to stream on 23rd November 2021.

Jonas Brothers Family Roast's going to be the streaming platform’s first-ever family roast and is described as, "one of a kind comedy special of epic proportions that celebrate the universal truth that no one can get under your skin quite like your own family. You’ll see the multi-platinum global superstars the Jonas Brothers like you’ve never seen them before through sketches, songs, games, and special guests – all to give them a roasting they’ll never forget."

The family roast is going to feature guest appearances by Niall Horan, Lilly Singh, Pete Davidson, Gabriel "Fluffy" Iglesias, John Legend, Jack Whitehall, and more. The roast is going to be produced by Fulwell 73, where Emma Conway and Gabe Turner will serve as executive producers for Fulwell 73 along with Kevin, Joe, and Nick Jonas. Lauren Greenberg is going to serve as the head writer and James Longman as executive producer for the family roast.

Netflix released a teaser film on October 25, 2021, in which the band members and brothers promise fans and audience a never-before-seen program in which the brothers give a sneak peek at all the intriguing things that will happen during the family roast. The Jonas Brothers are seen in the video sitting in a living room discussing the roast. While the three J-sisters, Danielle, Sophie Turner, and Priyanka Chopra were absent from the preview, fans are eager to see if the popular actresses will attend the family roast.

Nick Jonas used social media to share the news with his fans, which seemed to have blown their minds because the family roast will have comedies, music, games, and special games. All of this was done to make fun of the brothers' lives, careers, fun times, high-profile marriages, solo ventures, reality television, and so on.

The Jonas Brothers are an American pop rock band that started in 2005 and catapulted to success on the Disney Channel television network almost immediately. They stared in the Disney Channel Original Movie Camp Rock and its sequel, Camp Rock 2: The Final Jam, which premiered in mid-2008. It's About Time (2006), Jonas Brothers (2007), A Little Bit Longer (2008), Lines, Vines and Trying Times (2009), and Happiness Begins (2010) are the band's five albums (2019).

During 2010 and 2011, the Jonas Brothers went on hiatus to pursue separate projects before reuniting in 2012 to produce a new album, which led to their breakup in 2013. Six years later, the band reunited and released "Sucker," a single, on March 1, 2019. The song became the 34th song in Billboard Hot 100 history to debut at number one, and it was the Jonas Brothers' first number-one single. "Happiness Begins", their fifth studio album, debuted at number one on the Billboard 200 chart in the United States on June 7, 2019.

The Jonas Brothers teamed up with the non-profit Feeding America in August 2021 to promote donations to the charity by running a competition to dine with a chosen fan at a Los Angeles restaurant.
