During an appearance on CNN’s broadcast of New Year’s Eve Live after the Watch What Happens Live! segment, Nick Cannon spoke to Andy Cohen and Anderson Cooper, where the host joked with Nick that he appeared to be single-handedly repopulating the earth.

Andy Cohen then asked Nick Cannon about his plan, to which he replied that he does not have one, but that there is so much joy and excitement about his life and family that he embraces and loves it. Nick once again said that he does not have a plan because, according to him, that should have been clear from the jump.

Anderson Cooper asked Nick Cannon if he had any advice for any new fathers out there, to which the Masked Singer host said that they should just operate out of love, explaining that some people may say that’s what got them here in the first place, but that’s what he would always do, and he always does it with a smile.

Nick Cannon recently welcomed his 12th child, Halo Marie, with Alyssa Scott on December 14th, and Alyssa Scott shared the news on social media, expressing their joy after losing their son Zen in November 2021. Alyssa Scott captioned the photo, saying that their lives changed forever on December 14th, 2022, and that Zen is in every breath, and they know that his spirit was with them in the room that morning, and they know he is watching over them. Alyssa Scott stated that Zen gives them signs each day, and she will recollect the sound of Nick's voice that says that it's a girl, and the look of anything and everything they have gone through glimpses across his face.

Alyssa concluded that she would remember the sound of her crying out with her first breath and feeling her heartbeat against hers. She added that they love Halo Marie Cannon. Zen, the couple's late son, will be welcomed back in June 2021. Nick Cannon revealed on his now-defunct eponymous daytime talk show a few weeks later that 5-month-old Zen died of brain cancer and a subsequent tumor.

The couple welcomed the Zen's Light Foundation on their Instagram accounts at the time, intending to find a cure for pediatric cancer in honor of their late son. The parents of Zen, Nick Cannon, and Alyssa Scott attended a beautiful lighting ritual to honor the life of an angel to commemorate the event. The duo went ahead to thank the Children's Hospital of Orange County for their assistance in organizing the inaugural event. They absolutely can not wait to attend the next Lighting Gala, which will assist find a treatment for pediatric cancer, much farther research, and console even more parents in need, based on the caption. During a conversation for the Paramount+ show The Checkup, Nick Cannon told Dr. David Agus, among other things, that he's spread too thin and added that as a father of multiple children, it's always the biggest guilt on him that he doesn't get to spend enough time with all of his children.

Nick Cannon shares twotwins Moroccan and Monroe with his ex-wife Mariah Carey along with sons Golden Sagon Cannon and Rise Messiah Cannon with Brittany Bell and later welcomed a daughter Powerful. The host and Abby De La Rosa have twins named Zion and Zillion, as well as a daughter named Beautiful Zeppelin Cannon, who was born in November 2022. He and Bre Tiesi have a son named Legendary Love Cannon, and he and LaNisha Cole had a daughter named Onyx. Halo Marie Cannon is Nick Cannon and Alyssa Scott's daughter. Zen Cannon, the couple's son, died in December 2021, only five months after he was born.
