Bachelor alum Nick Viall has finally popped the question to his longtime partner Natalie Joy, and she said yes!
Nick Viall took to social media to share a picture of the two of them with a simple caption that read, "For the rest of my life, it’s you." Nick Viall proposed to Natalie Joy with a Brilliant Earth custom engagement ring. To be even more specific, it's an 18K yellow gold Luxe Viviana set with such a 5-carat elongated cushion cut.
Nick Viall and Natalie Joy started dating in July 2020, but their relationship had become public in January 2021, and a source at the time stated that Natalie Joy is indeed very good for Nick Viall. Nick disclosed that they chose to make it official after having spent some time together in person. He said that they continued to hang out, and she ultimately got to the point when she was like that she would like to date, whereas he was like he does not know but she was adamant and explained to him what she wants and added that it's not a big deal but she is going to continue to do her own thing and she was like what and then Nick added that she went ahead and showed him exactly what he had been missing.
According to a source at the time, Nick Viall and Natalie Joy's relationship is very real, and they've been dating since the beginning of COVID but have only recently begun going public. They went on to say that the two are practically inseparable and that she practically lives with him because she spends so much time at his house.
In February 2022, the former Bachelor stated that he is not a big fan of timeframes, but just four months later, when he did appear on Alex Cooper's Call Her Daddy podcast, he did admit that he is discussing the possibility of becoming something a little more with her. He clarified that there comes a time when a person doesn't want to have to reassure their partner that they would like to marry or get engaged to them. Instead of having to know today is the day, they both want it to be romantic and unforeseen.
ET spoke to the former Bachelor in August, going to follow his anniversary with Joy, and he made clear that he was "definitely" starting to think about proposing. They've been dating for two years and currently live together, so those discussions must take place, and it's thrilling to consider a future with her. Nick continued by stating that he claims to believe she has the same feelings about him, which is intriguing, and that he is appreciative that he has the relationship that he does.
Last year, Nick Viall revealed on the People Everyday podcast that everyone's marriage situation is unique. He added that he believes timelines can be hazardous in terms of setting false expectations and striving for a specific timeline, only to discover that the person has other priorities. The former Bachelor also advised people to be cautious when setting deadlines. It's fine if they want to set a time; just make sure it's mutual.
Natalie Joy wrote on Instagram for Valentine's Day 2022, sharing a photo of the two and saying that she is so lucky to feel incredibly loved every day that Valentine's Day is just another Monday, with extra flowers and chocolate-covered strawberries, of course.
The surgical technologist described Nick Viall as her dream man on Instagram the same week. Natalie Joy gushed about Nick Viall, who will turn 41 in September 2021. She captioned the post, that Nick Viall is among the best, and anyone who's met him appears to know it," adding that she perceives herself lucky to not only share this life with him but also to love and be loved by him.
The surgical technologist continued by stating that he managed to turn her entire world upside down by giving every fantasy and goal new significance and purpose. Natalie stated that Nick's good humor, sincerity, benevolence, talent, creative thinking, drive, heart, and enthusiasm simply keeps blowing her mind, and she will cherish his existence for the rest of her life!
