Former England international captain David Beckham and singer Victoria Beckham’s son Romeo James Beckham have debuted on the red carpet with his girlfriend, model-influencer Mia Regan.
Romeo Beckham and Mia Regan walked the red carpet on Monday at the 2021 British Fashion Awards held at the Royal Albert Hall in London, where Romeo wore a classic black military-style suit and accessorized it with silver earrings and a stylish watch. Mia donned a black fringed Proenza Schuler dress and completed her look with black heels, a fringed yellow clutch, a plunging diamond necklace, a cage-styled bracelet, and silver earrings.
Mia Regan opened up to Vogue about having Romeo’s mother and beauty mogul Victoria Beckham as a figure in her life and especially ahead of her red-carpet debut. She said, "Even just talking about what I'm wearing with her, what nails and make-up I'm going to go for, it's nice to have that figure."
Mia is an advocate of vintage and sustainable fashion, and she explained, "When you buy a piece of clothing, you want to have it for a long time." Mia’s black-fringed Proenza Schuler dress was from specialist rental site My Wardrobe HQ. The model also shared in her interview that she wore her mother’s old Vivienne Westwood shirts to school and on trips to New York.
The 19-year-old model-influencer shared with Vogue that she tried on loads of dresses before finalizing the black-fringed Proenza Schuler dress for the fashion awards, which was stocked at Harrods. Mia said, "I wanted to push myself out of my comfort zone. I love the way it hangs on the body. The dress is simple but effective—that’s the intention, because accessories are the thing I love to do. "
Mia Regan shared that ahead of her red carpet debut with Romeo Beckham, "I think it’s good to have nerves; if you didn't, you wouldn’t be human." The couple started dating in 2019, and Romeo and Mia’s red carpet debut at the British Fashion Awards marks their second public appearance after they attended the Wimbledon event in London earlier in June.

There were a lot of rumors that the couple was already married, but Brooklyn shared that they had to postpone the wedding because of COVID-19 restrictions.
Brooklyn said in an interview with Hello!, "We've been engaged for a year and if COVID wasn't a thing, we'd have liked to have been married already, and it has been a bit difficult. You know, I've only just started to travel again. I'm traveling a little now, but hopefully, it'll be next year". Announcing their engagement, Brooklyn posted on his social media account, "Two weeks ago I asked my soulmate to marry me, and she said yes xx. I am the luckiest man in the world.
