Yes, you read it right. The beloved white collar actor said goodbye to the world at the age of 57. This sudden demise happened yeaterday, that is on September 21, 2021.
Willie Garson Paszament is a reputed American actor who has earned quite a reputation over years of work as an actor, after all not everybody gets a chance to be a part of over 75 movies and about 300 episodes in the lifetime of acting career. His works in movies and TV series like Sex And The City (1998 - 2004), White Collar ( 2009 - 2014), Hawaii Five-0 (2010 - 2020), Walk Of Shame (2014), Little Manhattan (2005), Freaky Friday (2003), Untamed Heart (1993) and many others, have earned him fame, many nominations, and many awards of excellence.
Though the cause of actor's demise occurred due to a short term illness, as confirmed by PEOPLE. The sudden demise of this adorable star was because of a disease, namely pancreatic cancer has left everyone devastated. His friends and family, and co-stars especially those who worked with him on the sets of Sex And The City are shattered on hearing this news and many are yet to believe his demise. The fans, followers and audience of his movies are also grieving to have lost one of their very special star.
Everyone is mourning the death of this lovely soul. His son Nathon Gason paid tribute to his doting father on Instagram. He writes,
"I love you so much papa. Rest In Peace and I’m so glad you got to share all your adventures with me and were able to accomplish so much. I’m so proud of you. I will always love you, but I think it’s time for you to go on an adventure of your own. You’ll always be with me. Love you more than you will ever know and I’m glad you can be at peace now. You always were the toughest and funniest and smartest person I’ve known. I’m glad you shared you’re love with me. I’ll never forget it or lose it ❤️😘"
Michael Patrick King, the executive producer of SATC talked about the deceased in a statement. He remarked that Garson was present every day for filming with his dedicated spirit and added that he was providing them with all that was necessary even while he was sick. His gift of acting and the person he was would be surely missed by everyone.
Life and death goes together, but we tend to forget that. People are born, hey become a part of society, develops family, friends and other societal relationships that forms a bond of that person with the rest of the world. Especially in case of celebrities, who have millions of admirers all across the globe, development of such a bond is inevitable. But if death calls upon, all bonds are hurt.
The ties might look broken then, but my friend these relationships of love can never be shattered as the love for our loved ones always remain in our hearts just like the bonds.
