These celebs prove that love is beautiful, but friendship is better!

Celebrity friendships are a story to behold. Don't we all want a BFF like Selena Gomez's friend Francia Raisa, who donated her kidney to Selena when in need?

Celebrity friends like Brad Pitt and George Clooney have stuck with each other for years, and there are others like Cole Sprouse and KJ Apa who formed great friendships on shoots.

Similarly, Tisdale and Hudgens worked with each other for years and hence became the best of friends. They starred together through the High School Musical franchise from 2006 through 2007 and then 2008's High School Musical 3: Senior Year.

It is so unreal to see the reel life rivals have such amazing friendship dynamics in real life. Tisdale and Hudgens have starred as rivals against each other for three years and hence continue their sweet relationship.

When asked about her relationship with screen-life enemy Hudgens in 2019, Tisdale told Us Weekly, "We just have a connection, and she's so awesome and one of my best friends. What I love about her is that she's so talented, and I think what we share is that we're really grounded people, and I think that that's important, especially with what we do, is to stay grounded."

The two best friends also worked in Disney together and have been friends since before then being cast in High School Musical. "We actually worked together a year before in a Sears commercial, and from that day on we were super close. So people don't really know — I think some people know that but they think it was that movie that brought us together, and it really wasn't,” Tisdale said.

Other celebrity BFFs like Busy Philipps and Michelle Williams have managed to stay friends years after their shoot days, too. Philipps, explaining how she keeps her relation close with Williams, told Us Weekly, "Whether you're, like, in the public eye or not, I think the secret to longevity in friendships is putting in the time and the understanding and working through any issues that might arise. "I think that especially now with texting, it's even easier to stay in touch with people and be communicative."

Here are the best celebrity pairs that have learned the secret to long friendships and have stayed great friends through the years.

Cole Sprouse and KJ Apa

Cole Sprouse has been in the Hollywood industry for long but found a lifetime friend in KJ Apa in 2017 on the sets of Riverdale, an American high school drama. The two are now usually seen together on their travel videos and can be seen pulling each other's legs on social media constantly. In fact, Cole gave KJ Apa a full-fledged photoshoot, and if you and your friends have done the same, you know that it's a bestie thing! The two quarantined together on the onset of the pandemic in 2020, informed Dylan Sprouse, Cole's twin brother. "I heard they're just lifting weights and eating cheese. I think that's what they do," he said.

Brad Pitt and Leonardo DiCaprio

The two infamous actors are at the top of their industry, and it was just a matter of time that they turned into best friends. They shot together in Once Upon a Time in Hollywood, and their relationship kicked in right away. Now the two gush about each other in award acceptance, and that is how the big celebs show their love! "I also have to thank my partner in crime, LDC. He's an all-star. He's a gent. I wouldn't be here without you, man. I thank you, still," said Pitt when accepting his Golden Globe for Best Supporting Actor in a Motion Picture.

Mariska Hargitay and Melissa McCarthy

Giving a glimpse into her relationship with Mariska, Mellisa shared how she takes care of her long-time friend, especially when the latter was bedridden due to ankle injuries. "If you can't produce quality care for your friend after ankle surgery, the next best this is obviously standing outside Wienerschnitzel with a sign @therealmariskahargitay ❤️💥," Mellisa wrote on an Instagram video. The sign asked passing-by drivers to honk for Mariska's speedy recovery of The Law and Order: SUV actress, Mariska, had suffered through multiple ankle injuries in July 2021. If anything, this is peak friendship.

Regé-Jean Page and Sterling K. Brown

Page was pretty much a star stuck fan when he met brown for the first in a party (just like we all would be). In an interview with Variety in 2021, Page recalled his conversation with Brown at the 2016 party and retold that he said, "I just want to be you" when he first saw Brown. Continuing, he said, "And Sterling just smiled patiently and let me do that and then talked me through how not to be overwhelmed by this room. He reassured me and said, 'You've got stuff ahead of you. You can breathe.'"

The two are very close friends. Brown, for his part, was impressed by Page too. He told Variety, "I remember thinking, 'Look at this dude doing the damn thing.' He had this wonderful swagger about him." Page said that he had learned a lot since the first meeting with Brown. "He's talked me through a couple of things that scared me," he said.

Melissa McCarthy and Octavia Spencer

If there is one celeb friendship that stood the test of time, it is the friendship of Mellisa McCarthy and Octavia Spencer. The two have been together for over two decades and are still going very strong. The two have starred together in Thunder Force, a 2021 Netflix show, and carried their real-life dynamics on the screen.

McCarthy posted a sweet tribute for her friend Spencer and captioned it: "After 20+ years, I'm #stillbestfriends with the incredible @octaviaspencer, and I wouldn't have it any other way ❤️."

Reese Witherspoon and Laura Dern

Good friendships are created when you tour together to promote a film. If you don't believe this, just ask Reese Witherspoon and Laura Dern, who starred together in Wild in 2014 and are great friends to date. "You know someone is your favorite person when you've done a day of press, listened to yourself ad nauseam, listened to them tell every story, and when it ends, it's like, 'Are we going to eat something?'" Dern had said about their relation to Vanity Fair. The two can be seen together on their Instagram Live sessions and also worked together in Big Little Lies.
