One of the most awaited movies 'The Expendables 4' has added one more superstar Andy Garcia to the star cast list. The Hollywood actor will be seen playing the role of a Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) agent assigned to support the 'Expendables' on their difficult journey facing various kinds of life-threatening missions. The American action thriller franchise has been pretty successful over the years for Lionsgate's Studio with an earning of a whopping $804 million globally. The third Expendables movie did not perform well as expected by the critics and fans at the box office was the lowest-grossing movie in the franchise.

The 65-year-old actor will join the returning cast and crew Statham, Stallone, Dolph Lundgren, and Randy Couture with newcomers Curtis James Jackson, Megan Fox, and Tony Jaa. The film is directed by Scott Waugh, who directed the 2014's action-thriller Need For Speed. The film is now expected to begin its production in early October. The American film star has produced and acted in the HBO television film For Love or Country: The Arturo Sandoval Story. He has also been featured in 2001's Steven Soderbergh's Ocean's Eleven and its sequels, Ocean's Twelve in 2004, and 2007's Ocean's Thirteen. In the year 2005, the actor directed and starred in the movie The Lost City alongside Dustin Hoffman and Bill Murray.

The Expendables is an American action-thriller franchise consisting of three films: The Expendables, The Expendables 2, and The Expendables 3, with a fourth installment planned to be released in near future. The film is written by 75-year-old Sylvester Stallone and is based on characters created by David Callaham. The franchise was created to pay tribute to the 1980s, and 1990s, blockbuster action films.
