NBC released a trailer full of emotions and goodbyes for the sixth and final season of "This Is Us," which returns on January 4th, 2021 to bid the audience adieu. The network has also released some new pictures along with the trailer for the new season, which features Milo Ventimiglia, Mandy Moore, Sterling K. Brown, Chrissy Metz, Justin Hartley, Susan Kelechi Watson, Chris Sullivan, Jon Huertas, Niles Fitch, Logan Shroyer, Hannah Zeile, Mackenzie Hancsicsak, Parker Bates, Lonnie Chavis, Eris Baker, and Faithe Hermann. This Is Us is from 20th Television and was created and executive produced by Dan Fogelman.

Dan Fogelman said, on ending the series, "Whoever casually said, ‘All good things must come to an end never had to end their favorite thing. While sad to have just one season left, I am also grateful to NBC for letting us end the show how, and when, we always intended. We’ll work hard to stick the landing. "

In the two-minute clip that was released recently, the audience can see Mandy Moore, who plays Rebecca Pearson, telling her daughter Kate Pearson, played by Chrissy Metz, that she is losing her memory. Rebecca further added in her conversation with Kate, "Sometimes I think about what my very last memory will be before the candle goes out." Kate is heard singing "Time After Time" at the retirement home, and there’s also Jack’s death.

As Rebecca speaks about not being able to remember things, the audience gets to see some key moments in the Pearson family, like Rebecca and Jack, played by Milo Ventimiglia, in their initial days of dating, Justin Hartley, who plays Kevin, comforting his brother Randall, played by Sterling K. Brown, and then there is "the Big Three," celebrating their birthdays. (We also get to see them celebrate their 41st birthday as well.) The trailer also teases a wedding between Kate and Philip, played by Chris Geere, as he stares at her longingly, after the season five finales showed us their wedding, shocking everyone that it wasn't Toby.

While all this is shown, the present-day Rebecca continues lamenting her failing memory, telling Kate, "I don't know how much longer I have before things get worse. So I made sure to remember every little detail. As emotional images of the Pearsons from the past and present blend together, Rebecca says her greatest wish is that she "could make time stand still."

'This Is Us', is a refreshingly honest and controversial television show by NBC that follows a diverse group of people whose paths meet and whose lives intertwine in unexpected ways. The audience discovers that many of them share the same birthday, as well as a lot more than you might assume. This Is Us is a sophisticated, contemporary drama that will make you question your assumptions about the characters you think you know.

For its first season run in 2016, This Is Us received three major Golden Globe nominations, including Best Television Series Drama and Best Supporting Actress for both Mandy Moore and Chrissy Metz’s performances. And for its another successful season (second), Sterling K. Brown had won his first Golden Globe for Best Actor in a Television Series Drama, along with Ron Cephas Jones, who won an Emmy for Outstanding Guest Actor. In 2019, the series also won a SAG award for Outstanding Performance by an Ensemble in a Drama Series.

Mandy Moore took to her social media account to share the trailer and captioned it, "Officially official." One season is left of my favorite job. You can bet we will be soaking in every single moment. I'm already very emotional about my favorite job coming to an end. BUT... We have a whole season to wrap things up the way they were always intended. " As Susan Kelechi wrote, "What a ride it's been... what an incredible season to come," while sharing the trailer on her social media.

Are you ready for the end?
