Pete Davidson is clarifying the dating rumors with singer Olivia O’Brien.
Olivia O’Brien recently disclosed that she and former Saturday Night Live comedian Pete Davidson were seeing each other around October 2020 during an episode of BFFs with Dave Portnoy, Josh Richards, and Brianna Chickenfry.
Pete Davidson parted things with the B-list pop star/influencer he had been seeing before Phoebe Dynevor, according to a post on DeuxMoi that the presenter Dave Portnoy saw and asked Olivia about.
Olivia said that she did not know that anyone knew that the two of them were seeing each other before Pete Davidson broke things off with her before he started seeing Bridergton actress Phoebe Dynevor. She said that Pete texted her and said that he was seeing someone else, so he couldn’t see her. She further mentioned during the podcast that all of this happened a long time ago and she still thinks that Pete Davidson is a great guy she mentioned that the thing about him that drew her towards him was the fact that he is funny and hot. Olivia added that Pete is a really sweet guy and said that it’s annoying how guys don’t get it when it comes to Pete’s appeal.
Pete Davidson and Phoebe Dynevor also never confirmed their relationship but were spotted a couple of times by the media, before that, they were publicly spotted at an event at Wimbledon, but in August 2021, it was reported that the couple had called it quits. The source at the time shared that the long distance made their relationship very difficult and they are both mature and understanding, so looking at the situation, they both thought and agreed that it was good for both of them to move on. Another source shared that Pete was busy with his stuff and she was busy with hers, and then the pandemic was affecting people's getting around, and that ended up being a hassle for them, but whatever time they had, it was fun.
Talking about Olivia O’Brien, Pete Davidson’s representative has clarified that the comedian never saw her but they were friends and hung out a couple of times as friends. Now, Olivia has also stated on her social media that her words from the podcast have been misinterpreted and that she has never suggested dating someone. She has urged the public to watch the interview and stop making a big deal out of her sending a text to a person over two years ago.
Pete Davidson is currently seeing beauty mogul and reality TV star Kim Kardashian, and the couple has been vocal about their feelings for each other. Although Pete Davidson is yet to make an appearance on their Hulu show, "The Kardashians," the couple went official with their relationship in November 2021, and according to sources, Kim Kardashian is really happy and enjoying herself with Pete Davidson and has already said that he is the sweetest and humble person she has met during an episode of The Kardashians. The couple also walked the red carpet at MET GALA 2022 together and Khloe Kardashian believes that Kim is already in love with Pete Davidson.
