Jeremy Renner is out of surgery.

On New Year’s Day, actor Jeremy Renner, who is famously known as Clint Barton a.k.a. Hawkeye from the Marvel Cinematic Universe, was reported to have sustained injuries at his residence in Reno, Nevada. It was also reported that the actor would undergo surgery on Monday.

In a statement, the actor's representative confirmed that the actor, who was scheduled to undergo the procedure following the snow plow accident, is now out of surgery but continues to remain in critical care units but his situation is stable.

According to the statement from his spokesperson, Jeremy Renner still continues to suffer from blunt chest trauma and orthopedic injuries but is in a steady state. The statement added that the family would also like to express their gratitude to the incredible doctors and nurses at Truckee Meadows Fire and Rescue along with Washoe County Sheriff, the Carano and Murdock families, and Reno City Mayor Hillary Schieve for everything they did for the actor. Finally, the spokesperson said that the family is touched and would express appreciation for the constant outpouring of support and affection from Jeremy Renner's fans.

According to the news release, Jeremy Renner was airlifted from the Mt. Rose Highway area in Reno, Nevada, at 9:00 a.m. on January 1, 2023, and when deputies arrived, they connected with Truckee Meadows Fire Protection District and REMSA Health to organize for medical service for Jeremy Renner via care flight.

Although Jeremy Renner's injuries were severe, he communicated that he is in a serious but stable condition, that his family is with him, and that he is receiving excellent care. According to TMZ, the actor was plowing a road on Sunday so that his family could exit the snowstorm, and another source claimed that having taken all precautions, the snow plow machine ran across one of Jeremy Renner's legs, resulting in him losing a lot of blood. A doctor's neighbor applied a compression bandage to his leg until the ambulance came.

Following the report of his accident, James Gunn, the director of The Guardians of the Galaxy and now co-chairman of DC Studios, tweeted that his heart was with Jeremy Renner, and Josh Gad tweeted that he was praying for the actor and his family. Actor Robert Patrick, who co-starred in Kill the Messenger with Jeremy Renner in 2014, also hoped him a speedy recovery.

Tara Strong posted a picture of the two of them, writing that she has admired him for decades, from Senior Trip to the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Tara also sent him and his loved ones the ability to heal love, brightness, and resilience for a complete recovery. In the Marvel Cinematic Universe, actor Mark Ruffalo, who plays Bruce Banner, a.k.a. The Hulk, took to Instagram to ask fans to pray for Jeremy Renner's complete and speedy recovery. He also asked fans to send healing energy to the actor.
