Angelina Jolie and ex-husband Brad Pitt are once again fighting in court, this time for their rights over a $164 million Chateau Miraval in Correns, France.

The claims say that Jolie has been partaking in unlawful activities to remove Pitt from the real estate deal while trying to sell her 50% share of the mansion. As per law, Pitt is given the right to buy the mansion from Jolie prior to her trying to sell it out. The claim was filed in Luxembourg saying that Pitt wasn't given a chance to buy out the $164 million property.

The French countryside mansion had first come into the limelight during the couple's wedding. Angelina and Brad had tied the knot in a private ceremony on the 1,000-acre estate in 2014. Their six kids were also part of the ceremony.

Now, apart from the multi-million estate dispute, the couple is also vowing for the custody of their six kids. The custody dispute has been running since the couple had originally filed for divorce and continues to stand unsolved yet.

The property in question is a shared estate of the couple, Pitt having transferred 10 percent of the estate to Nouvel, Jolie's holdings, from Mondo Bongo, holdings of Pitt. This made Jolie an equal partner of the luxurious mansion. The shares for Miravel had been held in separate limited liability companies (LLCs) ever since. Hence, both Jolie and Pitt were liable to ask the other's permission before selling their shares in the estate.

With Angelina looking to sell the villa behind Brad's back, Brad is eligible to file a claim against her.  A source explaining the incursion of the original estate had said, "He did all the work; she did nothing."

As Jolie had taken part in a deceiving tactic to sell her shares, the Luxembourg lawsuit has deemed the share transfer from Pitt to Jolie void. The 10% transfer of shares was done on a nonexistent value of €1. The Luxembourg law requires shares to be transferred at a significant value, and hence, the €1 transfer is not counted. The villa continues to stand at a whopping price of  $164 million.

Apart from the Miraval shares issue, Jolie is said to be withholding other accounts from Pitt. "It is worth mentioning that, for the last four years, Nouvel [Jolie's company] did not act in the best interest of Quimicum by systematically delaying the approval of the annual accounts and the renewal of the manager," the lawsuit had said.

It also stated, "We understand that behind this systematic obstruction, the real purpose of Nouvel and its shareholder [Jolie] is to sell its stake in Chateau Miraval SA in a way that would circumvent Mondo Bongo's right of first refusal (as provided in Quimicum's articles of approval), taking; as a result, a capital gain raised thanks to Mondo Bongo's investment and to which Nouvel did not contribute."

Angelina is still fighting for the primary custody of her five kids ( out of six ): Pax, 17, Zahara, 16, Shiloh, 15, and twins Vivienne and Knox, 13, after Brad was allowed joint custody of the former couple's children.

Noting the unduly slow pace of solving the case, Brad's attorney said, "Condoning the use of this type of strategic 'lie in wait' disqualification challenge will cause irreparable harm to both the children and families involved in this case and other families in other cases, by unnecessarily prolonging the resolution of these disputes in an already overburdened court system. Allowing this kind of crafty litigation strategy will deprive parents of irreplaceable time with their children as judges are disqualified for minor reasons in the midst of their cases."

Further explaining, he said, "Nothing in the opposition brief calls into question the urgent need for California Supreme Court review, nor does the opposition address nor refute the important fact that the lower court's ruling is bad for children and bad for California's overburdened judicial system."

There have been no claims or refutes regarding the activities from Angelina Jolie's side as of now.
