Bella Thorne is not sorry.

Actress Bella Thorne appeared on this week's episode of Emily Ratajkowski’s the High Low with EmRata podcast and they began discussing the complexities of being an underage woman with in the industry and the sexualization of young girls.

Bella Thorne shared an incident stating that she had a director who gave her feedback once when she was 10 years old, adding that the casting director called her agent and the agent called up her mother, after which they found out that they were not moving forward with her because the director felt as though Bella was flirting with him and felt uncomfortable.

The actress went ahead to express her shock by stating that she still goes back to that interaction every day as it drives her crazy thinking about what she did to make him feel uncomfortable. She said that she reminded herself that she was not the problem at the age of 10. Bella went on to say that while she considers what the fuck the director was talking about, she doesn't give a fuck about what she said at the time and doesn't care if she said eat my p---y right now, when she was 10 years old.

During the interview, Bella Thorne stated that he would never think she was flirting with him by pointing back at the director while he was in a director's session where she couldn't have said or done anything because the actor just did a scene, said hello, and walked out. She added that there was no time for her to sit on his lap or make him uncomfortable.

Emily Ratajkowski consoled the actress and stated that she should forgive herself because she was a fucking kid at the time, noting that the director who claimed that Bella Thorne made him uncomfortable rots in hell. The model added that for someone to just put all of that on a 10-year-old child and make it seem like they made an adult man uncomfortable is unacceptable. She added that if someone needs a more fucked-up story of Hollywood and pedophilia and the sexualization of children in the industry, then she does not think there is one.

Emily Ratajkowski went ahead to share her own experience by stating that, when she was 16 years old, she and her agent had an inappropriate exchange. She went on to say that they meant to point to her photograph and that she had been with her friend, who was also trying to model with the same organization at the time, and they said, "This face." Emily added that they said that this is the way they know this girl gets fucked—by telling her she will have to teach her a lesson about it. She went on to say that she recalls feeling pleased and ashamed at the same time, as well as disgusted and that now that she thinks about all this, she realizes what a mucked thing to say to anyone, especially a 16-year-old kid.

The former Disney Channel star has put a lot of effort to regain her viewpoint, which she appears to believe was gone from her while she was a child. She said that she feels this because she has rocked the word 'sex' for a lot longer, and she will always keep on rocking this word because it's what had been put on her ever since she was so little.

Bella has opened up about how a few female directors have also made her uncomfortable while shooting a nude scene in an interview with Page Six. She said at the time that she wants to be stronger, and when she is filming a nude scene on set, she is very uncomfortable and is always working through her discomfort because she wants to do it, especially if it was important for the character. Bella adds that being a writer herself she understands it very well that sometimes explicit scenes are required for the characters, but adds that there are still some people out there who just want to get girls naked on camera.

When asked if she experiences less anxiety when collaborating with female directors, the performer responded that this does not make a difference. Bella clarified that she has done work with female directors and has had an incredible experience with a number of them, but that there have also been some female directors who may have made her feel uncomfortable, highlighting that it's not only men who make her uncomfortable on set. It's more about the way the scenario is handled from beginning to conclusion.
